With swift movements, Alex and Anna threw the three back into their car, climbing over the walls of the manor like raccoons.
However, just as they landed on the ground inside, sharp beeping alarm sounds were heard.
“What’s happening? Are these infrared surveillance cameras?”
Both of them were stunned as they looked at each other, puzzled.
Anna nodded. “Yeah, I was too careless.”
Alex helplessly said, “I find you’re kind of amateur, could it be that you are a part-timer in Divine Constabulary?”
Anna fumed and said, “I’m an official member! Isn’t that just an alarm? Why would we need to dismantle it beforehand? It’s just the same if I barge in openly.”
Her team member earlier had given favonovel.com the accurate bearings of Pepper’s location.
The two proceeded to rush to the north of the manor while ignoring the alarms.
Just then, a man in black came to meet up with them. He was a member of Divine Constabulary and a member of Sky’s team as well. He was in charge of gathering information and scouting the area.
“She’s in there.” The man pointed toward one of the maids’ bedrooms but his expression seemed odd.
Alex could sense an abnormal level of hormones within the man.

Anna, the brute woman, immediately kicked the door open.
At the same time, Alex noticed that the man in black quickly retreated into the dark.
