Marilyn went out of the shop with a dejected expression.
At the same moment, Giya walked out from the shop next door.

Giya looked around and checked out favonovel.com surroundings but saw no signs of Gerald.

Marilyn did not hear Giya’s words clearly.

“Don’t think too much about it. You should just treat Gerald better from now onwards then. After all, the both of you used to be classmates!” Giya advised.
“Yeah, I guess so! I think I caught a glimpse of another side of Gerald just now, y’know, when favonovel.com was swiping his card down the machine. He looked so cool and manly! Looks like I’ll have to change my attitude for the better from now on!”
