Kennedy quickly replied, “You’re right, Mr. Max Lake. Mr. Blaze Lake is so busy that we wouldn’t dare bother him! Mr. Max Lake, please come in. I’ve arranged a banquet in the garden for you!”
Then, the young man named Max Lake followed Kennedy and the others into Lake Residence.
Even though it was late at night in Lake Residence, it was still brightly lit. All members of the Lake family’s first branch gathered at Lake Residence today. There were three tables with various expensive dishes on them set up in the garden.

“Titus? Do you mean Titus of the Lake family’s second branch? Aaron’s son?” Max asked as favonovel.com raised his eyebrows.
Curtis immediately nodded and said solemnly, “Mr. Max Lake, you might not know that the second and third branches betrayed us and joined hands with Sean to attack us! Sean probably has access to Reason Group’s client information because the second and third branches meddled!”
Max nodded slightly in reply before saying with a chuckle, “Don’t worry. If nothing happens, you’ll be avenged tonight.”
“What do you mean by that, Mr. Max Lake?” Kennedy asked immediately.
Max did not hold back either. He replied with a smile, “When I left Janestown, Blaze had assigned missions to Darkness… Everyone around Sean in Ocean City is the target! Titus alone should not survive tonight. However, the other families are quite influential, so we probably can’t do much to them.”
