Kennedy and Curtis and several shareholders of Reason Group were sitting in a conference room in Reason Group.
“Old Master Lake, our company’s stock price is plummeting at a terrifying rate! Retail investors with our company’s shares are selling our shares in large quantities, regardless of the price!’’
One of Reason Group’s shareholders spoke grimly. He was not the only one. Everyone in the conference room looked gloomy, realizing someone seemed to be attacking Reason Group.
Kennedy also looked grim. He scanned the crowd and said solemnly, “Everyone, I own 40% of Reason Group’s shares, and all of you together own 30%! As long as we don’t sell our shares, we don’t have to panic even if someone is acquiring a lot of Reason Group shares! We can still call the shots. Even if they acquire the rest of the shares, we can kick them off the board of directors and prevent them from participating in Reason Group’s development!”
Hearing Kennedy’s words, the crowd present fell silent, and no one spoke fora longtime.
Seeing their behavior, Kennedy was gloomy. He had long been in the business world’s ups and downs and could see through these shareholders at a glance.
These people were worried Reason Group would crumble because of this. They would most likely end up losing their money if they did not sell their shares in time.
“Everyone, we worked hard to make Reason Group the 100 billion dollar behemoth it is today! Do you have the heart to watch someone else acquire the company you developed?” When the crowd stopped talking, Curtis got up and said solemnly.
Everyone’s eyes flashed at that, and they had no idea what to do.
Sean and the others invested a lot of money in the stock market, buying up Reason Group’s stocks.
Reason Group’s stock price had plummeted from 100 billion to 50 billion under Sean and the others’ doings. Sean and the others only paid a few billion.
Spending billions of dollars to consume Reason Group’s market value of nearly 50 billion was undoubtedly a good deal.
The people here were members of some of the affluent families in Ocean City, and a few billion dollars was nothing to them. Besides, it was not a bad deal. Once Reason Group’s market value dropped to the breaking point, they could easily acquire Reason Group. Then, they would bring those clients back to Reason Group and easily raise its market value again.
After all, the turmoil in Reason Group’s market value was entirely due to the loss of clients.

It was soon 3 p.m. when the stock market closed.
A trader said excitedly, “Reason Group’s market value has plummeted to 40 billion!”
The other traders were also excited to hear that. In less than two hours, they worked together to forcibly wipe out Reason Group’s market value by 60 billion dollars with merely billions of dollars.
After the news of Reason Group’s client loss and plunging market value fermented for another night, they were confident to decrease Reason Group’s market value from 100 billion to 20 billion or even 10 billion tomorrow.
“Hahaha! They’ve lost 60 billion dollars in market value in less than two hours. Kennedy and Curtis are probably losing their minds!” Titus said with a laugh.
The others were also smiling.
