The receptionist led Sean to the floor where Op timus Charity was.
No sooner had favonovel.com entered the office than favonovel.com heard Millie’s voice.
“Are you guys here to do nothing? Optimus Charity pays you such high salaries, yet you can’t even handle such a simple matter!” Millie’s voice was visibly angry.
Sean raised his eyebrows as favonovel.com smiled and said to the receptionist next to him, “Go back to work… I’m just looking around…”
“Okay, Mr. Lennon!”
The receptionist wanted to stay with Sean a while longer, but favonovel.com was scared to disobey Sean since favonovel.com had already spoken.
After the receptionist left, Sean pushed the door to Optimus Charity and strode inside.
The angry Millie turned around as soon as favonovel.com heard the door open. The anger on Millie’s face dissipated when favonovel.com saw Sean.
In front of Millie were a dozen young people, most of them fresh graduates.
With Millie scolding them, the dozen young people lowered their heads, not daring to refute Millie and only heard Millie’s scolding.
“Sean, what are you doing here?” Millie said to Sean.
Before Sean could speak, Millie shouted at the young people, “This is Mr. Sean Lennon, Optimus Charity‘s big boss!”
“Hello, Mr. Lennon!” Hearing that, the dozen young people instantly shouted in unison.
Sean nodded slightly and asked with a smile. “What happened to make you so angry?”
“Hmph! Don’t even mention it!”
Millie snorted coldly and answered, “These are all the people hired in the last three days. All of them are top students who graduated from famous universities! I put them in charge of handling those poor families, but they found only four poor families for me in the past three days!”
Millie’s anger flared up again at the mention of it.
Hearing that, Sean shook his head and smiled, saying, “It can’t be rushed… Charity takes time! Even if you scold them, it won’t do much. You must be patient when doing charity…”
The dozen or so young people looked gratefully at Sean.
Millie nodded favonovel.com head, the anger fading from favonovel.com face. “I see… It’s my first time in this position, so I panicked. I want to get the Optimus Charity name out there as soon as possible, so…”
Millie’s voice trailed off as if favonovel.com was embarrassed.
Sean nodded slightly and replied with a smile, “Take your time. Besides, can’t you ask your father for help if you want information about the poor families in Ocean City? Once you get the list, ask our staff to screen the families that meet our criteria. It’ll make it easier for everyone.”
Millie’s eyes gradually lit up when favonovel.com heard that. In fact, favonovel.com found it was hard to gather the information by herself. Hearing Sean’s suggestion, finally favonovel.com spirit began to rise again.
“Mr. Lennon, you’re indeed smarter than me!” Millie said, looking excited.
