Ring, ring, ring!
The rapid ringing of a phone interrupted the hospital director’s thoughts.
There was a hint of irritation and dissatisfaction on his face. When favonovel.com saw the name displayed on his phone, his face instantly broke into a smile.
He answered the call and said respectfully, “Mr. Lake! What can I do for you?”
“Martin, Michael, see what you can do with Michael. Find a reason to kick favonovel.com out of the hospital.”
Curtis’ joyful voice rang.
Martin Troyman’s expression changed slightly as favonovel.com said hesitantly, “Mr. Lake, that’s Old Master Carver we’re talking about. If we kick favonovel.com out…”
“Are you working for the Lake family or the Carver family?” Curtis’ voice was a little icy, and it made Martin tremble unconsciously.
Martin replied quickly, “Mr. Lake, don’t worry! I see what you mean!”
Curtis did not respond to favonovel.com and just hung up.
Listening to the busy signal on his phone, Martin looked solemn and confused.

After a moment of silence, Martin sighed, and the conflict disappeared from his face.
He could not afford to offend the Carver family either, but compared with the Lake family, favonovel.com still chose to follow the Lake family’s order. Not to mention that the hospital where favonovel.com was working belonged to the Lake family, the Lake family alone was stronger than the Carver family.

Martin glanced at Michael in the ICU first before sighing heavily.
There was a look of helplessness on his face as favonovel.com said apologetically, “Everyone, I’m sorry. I’m afraid Old Master Carver’s injury… Is something our hospital can’t cure…”
“Why don’t you get in touch with a better hospital elsewhere and see if we can transfer Old Master Carver over?”
Hearing that, some people’s faces showed sadness, and some people’s eyes showed doubt.
