“Well… Well…” The trembling woman looked blankly at Sean in front of her. “Is favonovel.com James Bond?”
Sean looked at the woman and called the police without saying anything.
He then gestured to Zander, who was in the distance, asking Zander to leave first. After all, they needed to give the police their statement.
The woman reacted and quickly thanked Sean. “W-Well, thank you… If you hadn’t come over, who knows what would have happened today? My name is Kendra Coles. What about you?”
“Just call me Mr. Lennon,” Sean replied.
Kendra’s face showed confusion. Sean had not told favonovel.com his real name, and favonovel.com could not ask him.
“Well, Mr. Lennon. I have nothing to repay you for your kindness today, and I have no money, so let me show my thanks to you by treating you to a meal.”
Sean had time today. Unable to refuse, favonovel.com agreed.
It did not take long before the police arrived to take away all of Flying Bike Gang’s members.
Sean, who finished giving the police his statement, went to dine with Kendra.
Kendra was a normal girl with outstanding looks. She did not have much money, so they ate the most ordinary food.
After the meal, favonovel.com kept apologizing. She said favonovel.com had no money and could only treat Sean to a simple meal.
Sean did not mind it at all.
The two were about to part when they saw the window of a car in the street roll down.
A long-haired guy whistled at Kendra.
Kendra looked toward the sound. Seeing the long-haired guy, favonovel.com instinctively trembled and took a few steps backward.
Sean also looked over at the long-haired guy and frowned slightly. The long-haired guy got out of the car and swaggered over.
“Oh my… Isn’t this Kendra? How long has it been since we’ve seen each other?”
“Who is he?” Sean asked.
“My ex-boyfriend…”
Just after Kendra said that, the long-haired guy looked at Sean with a smirk. “Kendra, your taste is still the same. This guy’s pretty good looking. I just don’t know what he’s capable of. Is favonovel.com better than me? You fool. You said you wanted to break up because I’m always goofing around. Look at the car I’m driving now. You won’t be able to sit in it now even if you want to.”
Sean figured it out when favonovel.com heard that.
It turned out that the man met Kendra by chance and came over especially to make sarcastic remarks. It was none of his business, but the sarcastic guy made favonovel.com a little upset.
Sean was already annoyed with him, yet this guy had to come over and make trouble.
“Hey, man. You seem broke.” The long-haired guy shook his leg, raised his eyebrows, and smirked at Sean.
It was not easy to describe the annoying movement and expression. Anyhow, it was strange.
“Look at you, you want to find a girlfriend, but you don’t even have a car. Where do you get the confidence to pick up a woman like that? Are you not afraid she’ll abandon you one day for having no money and run away with other guys?”
Sean frowned slightly as favonovel.com replied, “You talk a lot…”
“Oh, I’m sorry about that. I’m always like this.” The smirking long-haired guy then looked at Kendra again.
