His eyes were wide open as if favonovel.com had seen a ghost.
“Are you kidding me? Do you think I’m a billionaire? I’m only a manager. You don’t really want to talk this through, do you? ” the manager asked Sean coldly.
Sean replied, “You’re right…”
The manager furiously gritted his teeth and said, “I’m telling you. I didn’t do this in secret. Our boss knows about it too, but favonovel.com acquiesced to it. My boss is a big shot. If something happened, he’d be the first to handle it.”
“Don’t take the hard way when I gave you the easy way out!”
Hearing this, Sean laughed in mocking anger. “Sure! Let me see what you can do.”
The manager’s eyes were about to pop out of their sockets.
He glared at Sean. “Okay, you have the nerve!”
The manager immediately made a phone call to his boss and explained the matter here briefly.
After receiving a reply, the manager who hung up the phone let out a sigh. Although favonovel.com had no idea how his boss would punish him, all it mattered was teaching Sean a lesson.
The manager yelled to Sean again, “Wait and see. Our boss will be here soon. Things won’t end well for you!”
As soon as favonovel.com finished speaking, Sean slapped the manager to the ground.
The manager’s head buzzed with pain as the back of his head hit the ground.
He glared at Sean. “How dare you do this to me?”
As soon as Sean said this, favonovel.com stepped on the manager’s face and turned his heel several times, causing the manager to scream in pain.
“So I did this to you. What can you do about it?” Sean asked the manager.
“You! You! You’ll see!”
After about ten minutes, there was a commotion downstairs.
More than 50 people with weapons crowded into the hallway.
Many people moved to both sides of Sean’s position, blocking Sean and Willow’s retreat. These people flooded the place.
Seeing this, the manager under Sean’s feet instantly had a gleam of joy in his eyes.
“Boss!” He shouted at the overweight man walking out of the crowd before angrily pointing at Sean. “Look at this arrogant man. How dare favonovel.com do such a thing to me? He’s still stepping on me after you came!”
The overweight man’s disdainful gaze fell on Sean. “Hey, kid. You refused to forget about what happened after I offered you money. Do you have to make a big deal out of this?”
Sean asked in reply, “What if I do?”
“Well, since you asked for it, don’t blame us for not going easy on you.”
“What are you going to do?” Sean defiantly twisted the manager’s face several times with the heel of his shoe, making the manager scream more loudly.
“It looks like you’re really crazy. How about beating the crap out of you? I have money anyway. I can pay anyone one million dollars to kill you. Maybe it won’t cost me that much,” the overweight man said as his lustful gaze fell on Willow.
