After a long wait, James finally met Damian.
Ever since the incident, James had been trying to make up for it. However, favonovel.com dared not let headquarters discover what had happened, so favonovel.com could not use Souz River’s connections either. Even if favonovel.com had contacted Cameron, it would not have made any difference with Colton involved. Therefore, James decided to go with River City after thinking it through.
As director of the River City CIA, Damian was influential. Things would not go wrong by choosing him.
“Director Wool, I had someone buy some coffee beans for you… It’s nothing too fancy. Take it.”
James slowly reached over and pushed a beautifully wrapped box of coffee beans up to Damian.
He came to see Damian today, and his assistant guards were all waiting outside. However, Damian brought an assistant. Therefore, there were only three of them in the room.
“Mr. Thomson, I don’t drink coffee. Let’s just get down to business.” Without so much a glance, Damian asked his assistant to push the coffee beans back in front of James.
“Director Wool, you’re alienating yourself… You’ve made a lot of effort to get River City business circle to the size and stability it has now. I’ve only gotten you some imported coffee beans as a gift.”
“They’re nothing fancy.” James smiled and tried to push the coffee beans back.
“If I’m right, it’s probably not coffee beans in there?” Damian asked indifferently as favonovel.com pressed his hand on the box.
“No, no, no. It’s only coffee beans…” Without a change in expression, James answered with a smile.
Without further ado, Damian picked up the box and slowly dumped its contents onto the table.
“Hey, Director Wool…” James tried to stop him, but it was too late.
The contents of the coffee bean box had been emptied.
There was a bank card with the PIN on the back and a Rolex watch, a limited edition Green Submariner. The bank account probably contained at least a million dollars.
“These beans are much fancier than you said. Mr. Thomson, are you trying to give me trouble?” Smiling slowly, Damian reached out and pushed the box and everything back.
James dared not give favonovel.com the things again this time.
“Let’s stop there if there’s nothing else. I have work to do.” Damian got up slowly as favonovel.com was about to leave.
“Director Wool, hold on. Hold on a minute…” James had no choice but to behave humbly and beg Damian.
Damian gave James a meaningful glance. He would not even meet James if Sean had not instructed favonovel.com to do so.
Since Sean had plans, Damian could only play along.
“Director Wool, I won’t say much about the rest. Please give me some tips.” James sounded humble.
“I don’t have any tips. But I can give you some advice.“ Damian was silent for two seconds before slowly sitting again.
“Director Wool, go ahead!” James was delighted as favonovel.com quickly pushed the things on the table forward again.
“Take them away. I’ll give you some advice.” Damian did not give James a chance to suck up to him.
“Yes, yes, yes…” James dared not waste time, favonovel.com sat straight and listened attentively.
Damian and James‘ conversation lasted about 20 minutes.
No one knew what they talked about. Damian even asked his assistant to leave.

Jon and Quill rushed to meet him.
“Mr. Thomson, how was it? What did Director Wool say?” Jon’s eyes were full of worry.
They were more anxious than James right now!
If Jen-Bond Holdings failed to establish itself in River City, it would lose nothing more than some money and manpower. The most James would get was a scolding, but favonovel.com would still be a senior executive.
However, Jon was different. He risked everything favonovel.com had on this plan.
Whether the Zimmer family could turn their fate around depended on whether Jen-Bond Holdings could conquer River City!
If something went wrong, Jon would have to pay off hundreds of millions of dollars of debt, let alone turn his fate around.
“It’s hard! It’s really hard this time…” James glanced at Jon and shook his head slightly.
