The office was still quiet after a long time.
No one said a word to counter Sean. They knew Sean was telling the truth. He knew Colton, so Gordon could only die if favonovel.com wanted favonovel.com dead.
Liam could not help but wipe the sweat off his forehead. Thinking about what had happened, favonovel.com was still a little scared.

“That’s enough.” Damian clapped his hands, slowly got up, and looked at the crowd.
“That’s the way it is. Mr. Lennon now owns the land downtown and founded the Lennon Group. I believe Mr. Lennon will drive River City’s development. So we owe it to Mr. Lennon to support River City’s future.”
Damian’s speech met with immediate approval. Not only could they get in touch with Sean but also find a lofty reason for themselves, so why not?
Damian slowly turned his head and stared at Sean for a dozen seconds. He had no idea why Sean wanted favonovel.com to do that at first.
Only now did favonovel.com finally understand. It turned out Sean was prepared to fight them when Jen-Bond Holdings arrived in River City and had not made a fuss at first.
Sean’s astuteness and deep insight put Damian, who had lived double his life, to shame.
“Will anyone think you can let yourself off the hook without me since you have video evidence in your hands?” Sean picked up the teacup and suddenly said.

Hearing this, Hayden and the rest glanced at each other again.
Some people did think that. It was because Sean’s solution was simple. They had a video of James bribing them.
If James and Jon reported them, they could expose the video to clear themselves of responsibility. When they thought about it that way, Sean did not seem to play much of a role in this. Therefore, someone was bound to have other ideas.
“I’ll only say this once. I was able to expose Gordon’s video in that manner. I can do yours just the same.” Sean took a sip of tea with a faint smile in his eyes.
His statement made the crowd’s heart clench.

There was no doubt that Sean must have planted someone near Gordon.
What about the people around them?
With that in mind, those with nasty ideas gave up.
“Mr. Lennon, you worry too much. River City business circle will become better under your lead. We government officials hope to see River City with a brighter future.”
Hayden and the rest smiled obsequiously as they said to Sean.
“That’s good. I hate trouble.” Sean nodded gently and said no more.
What favonovel.com just said was a warning to everyone present.
If anyone else dared think otherwise, they could not blame Sean when the time came.
“Mr. Lennon, Jen-Bond Holdings is officially signing contracts with companies in River City tomorrow.” Hayden looked at Sean and reported to Sean what James had said at the wine party after Sean left.
Sean nodded. He knew James and Quill would not give up.
“It doesn’t matter. Do this tomorrow.” Sean waved his hand and gave the crowd instructions.
Damian and the rest were cooperative.
When it was done, the crowd went their separate ways. James and Quill had no idea Hayden and the rest would meet Sean.
“Commander, how… How on earth did you do it?” Zander saw Damian and the rest to the door, and favonovel.com spoke in surprise as soon as favonovel.com entered the room.
“Are you that surprised?” Sean glanced at Zander and shook his head slightly.
