“What do you mean? Do you think you can stay alive on your own?!” Baldric fumed.
“Don’t you know who I am? If you protect me, I’ll give you whatever you want after I return to Imperial City!”
Baldric knew that Philip was more powerful or Nico would not be begging him. In fact, favonovel.com knew Nico was a very powerful hunter. For a hunter to beg so humbly was enough to prove Philip’s ability, or rather, Lyle’s.
Lyle belonged to Philip, probably his hired help, so Lyle would not have made a move without Philip’s order.
“I’ll keep my word. You have to trust the promise of a prince!”
While Baldric was speaking to Philip, the tiger had already sent many people on guard flying and was fast approaching them.
Baldric and the others trembled at this furious roar. The psychological pressure caused by this beast was too great.
“Don’t worry, I’ll keep my promise!” Once again Baldric tried to convince the other party.
While Baldric coaxed Philip, Chaplin opened the mysterious box. Since their lives were hanging on the line, favonovel.com might as well get his hands on the treasure.
Philip saw Chaplin’s actions and wanted to stop favonovel.com because favonovel.com had already guessed what was in the box. However, Chaplin was so fast that it was too late to stop him.
Chaplin opened the box in front of everyone.
A huge beast that looked like a cow jumped out of the box. It was none other than the Fiery Thunderbolt Cow mentioned by Poppy earlier.
Everyone was horrified to see another powerful beast in front of them. They had not gotten rid of the tiger yet, but another beast that looked extremely powerful appeared again.
“Do you want to die?!” Baldric yelled, shocked that Chaplin let another beast out.
The tiger became quiet at the sight of the cow. The bloodline suppression seemed ineffective now.
The cow stood arrogantly and looked at everyone with disdain. It glared at the tiger in displeasure.
The tiger noticed its gaze and retreated in a panic back to its position.
Only the cow remained, and everyone was uneasy.
Philip looked at the cow curiously and noticed that it was quite young, not fully grown yet. Maybe no one would think of eating it other than Philip.
Baldric’s and Chaplin’s expressions changed rapidly, afraid that the beast would make things difficult for them.
“Is this the reward left by the ancient ruins?” Chaplin muttered under his breath. He could not figure out the situation.
Did the owner of this ancient ruin leave us a beast as a gift?
Seeing everyone motionless, Philip was unhappy.
