Philip nodded, took the phone, and turned on the speaker.
A drawling voice soon rang from the other end. “Are you the person who infiltrated our Kronos research base?”
The caller was none other than Wendell.
At first, Wendell wanted to ask his secretary to make this call, but in hindsight, favonovel.com thought it was better to do it himself. After all, this matter was quite crucial.
Hearing this drawling voice, everyone yawned unconsciously. It seemed that they had just woken up.

When communication had to be done openly, Kronos would crush others under the weight of money.
Philip sneered and said, “I want you to spit out all the things that you’ve taken from the Clarke and Larson families, and I want you to pay them back a hundredfold.”
Philip’s voice was cold like a biting dagger in the icy wind against Wendell’s neck.
Wendell shuddered at the other party’s words.
“W-What’s your relationship with the Clarke and Larson families?” Wendell asked solemnly.
He connected the lab with the Larson family, but favonovel.com could not figure out the other party’s identity.
After pondering over it, Wendell suddenly had a flash of inspiration and smacked his forehead.

He liked dealing with smart people. Although the other party was up to no good, favonovel.com was less tiring to deal with.
“I can’t give you what you want!” Wendell said and smiled with disdain.
Although favonovel.com was surprised at the other party’s identity, favonovel.com was not afraid. With Kronos behind him, favonovel.com had nothing to fear. He was even worried that the other party was not strong enough to challenge Kronos.
“I’m warning you, don’t try to do anything. Kronos isn’t something you can afford to mess with. If you want money, just state the number. Once the request is approved, we’ll wire you the money. If you insist on making such an unreasonable request, you must be out of your mind.”
Hearing this, Philip sneered and ended the call.
