Hearing the old man’s remark, Philip was startled and looked at the old man in puzzlement.
The old man smiled at favonovel.com and turned to Sinastro, expression unchanged.
Frowning, Sinastro surged with a chill.
“Who are you?”
The old man chuckled and said, “I’m just an old man.”
A ball of soft blue light appeared on his hand, which quickly shrouded the entire square.
Some people who had been swept away by the black mist, screaming and unable to move, slowly regained their movements. Everyone finally saw their condition.
Their bodies were full of bite marks, and many of them even had chunks of flesh bitten off. Some had been reduced into piles of bones on the floor.
Many people felt nauseated at this scene, and some threw up. Even Philip felt sick in his stomach.
The survivors looked relieved at being rescued and ran to the edge frantically, trying to get away from Sinastro.
Sinastro ignored those people but looked at the old man sinisterly.
“Who the hell are you?”
The old man glanced at Sinastro. He spread out his hand, and the endless blue light blended into the surroundings, making the blue light more intense.
The raging demonic energy was forced back into Sinastro’s body by the blue light. The people immersed in the blue light were pleasantly surprised to find their injuries slowly healing!
The people whose flesh was bitten off were slowly recovering too.
The old man said smilingly, “My name is Zenith Clarke. As someone of the younger generation, you probably don’t know me, but some people here should have heard of my name. Why don’t you let them tell you?”
Then, the old man smiled at Philip and said, “Strictly speaking, you’re my third brother’s great-great-grandson. I’m just here to participate in the ancient ruins of White Imperial City. I didn’t expect to see you. No wonder I kept having a strange premonition on my way here.”
Philip was dumbfounded as favonovel.com stared at the old man in front of him.
This man was his father’s great-granduncle?
The Clarke family on the land of the other shore had finally made an appearance!
“Um, Great-great-granduncle?” Philip said tentatively.
Zenith’s smile grew bigger.
“Haha, good boy, just call me Grandpa. Don’t worry, no one can bully you with me around! Speaking of your great-grandfather’s lineage back then… Alas, let’s not talk about it anymore. It’s all in the past.”
Seeing Zenith’s smiling face, Philip felt a little confused and at a loss.
Meanwhile, Bonnie looked shocked.
