Philip and Fennel exchanged a glance and rushed out with Dr. Garner in tow without further delay. The two guards in white combat uniforms at the door even tried to fire their guns when their throats were slit by a black shadow.
Fennel flicked the dagger in his hand, looked at the dozen incoming guards in the corridor, and said, “It seems that we’ve been tricked!”
