Charles did not want to talk to Martha right now.
He wondered what this old woman was planning now.
“Right, I’ll just call Philip. He said favonovel.com bought a house last time. I want to ask this good-for-nothing bum where his house is.”

Philip had just finished talking to Chase. It was settled, and of course, favonovel.com did not need to pay for the car.

Martha was straightforward. She did not beat around the bush.
