Jules came to their meeting spot but found no one there. He called out a few times.
Jadranka observed the surroundings from a distance. She wanted to ensure that no one from the Elixir Pavilion had followed him. She watched favonovel.com from the shadows for about ten minutes.
Seeing that no one was following Jules, Jadranka finally showed herself.
“Ma’am!” Seeing Jadranka, Jules immediately walked over and asked puzzledly, “What’s going on? Why did my father lead the powerhouses of the Elixir Pavilion to Mount Jakan?”
Jadranka wore a long purple dress. She was slender and looked lovely.
She looked at Jules and said with a smile, “What could’ve happened I wonder? Don’t worry it’s not a big deal.”
“Then why did you leave Elixir Pavilion?” asked Jules.
His intuition told favonovel.com that something must have happened. However, favonovel.com had no idea what was going on.
Jadranka dismissed his concerns. “It’s really nothing. I only called you here to tell you that I’m fine. You should head back. Don’t tell anyone you’ve seen me, not even your father, alright?”
Jules’ expression darkened. However, Jadranka’s figure had already disappeared.
What is favonovel.com doing? She asked me to come here, saying she’ll tell me the truth.
Why didn’t favonovel.com tell me anything?
Jules was frustrated. However, favonovel.com was unaware that a wisp of black energy had adhered to his body as Jadranka disappeared. Even Helvius did not notice when this happened, so it was even more unlikely for Jules to have detected the energy. He felt like favonovel.com wasted his time.
Disheartened, favonovel.com returned to Elixir City.
After entering the city, favonovel.com remembered that James wanted an invitation to the auction. So, favonovel.com stopped by the Oscars’ residence to ask for one.
Since Jules was the Elixir Pavilion’s Young Master, it was easy for favonovel.com to acquire an invitation. He returned to the Elixir Mansion in Sky City.
“Mr. Caden…” He arrived at the courtyard where James was staying. He walked inside and saw James sitting on a chair and looking into the distance, seemingly deep in thought.
James stopped daydreaming and looked at Jules. He nodded and said, “You’re back?”
Jules took out the invitation, handed it over, and said, “I got you an invitation for the Oscars’ auction. I also inquired about the auction and heard it’s taking place in Elixir City in three days. I also heard they’ve put up a lot of valuable things for auction. However, they’re not asking for Holy Stones, but Path Stones.”
“I see…” James nodded lightly.
He knew about Path Stones. They were very valuable items. Grand Emperors could gather Path Stones to deepen their understanding on Paths.
Path Stones are extremely hard to find and take countless years to form. They need to be cultivated with time and by the forces of heaven and earth. The Stones contained traces of Paths. They also contained Genesis. Powerhouses that reached the Grand Emperor Rank had to go through the effort of collecting Path Stones and educate themselves on the Paths within.
James scratched his head. He still had a lot of Holy Stones on hand, but did not have any Path Stones.
James decided to enter the Celestial Abode to ask Nova if Emperor Jabari had any Path Stones.
“If there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave first, Mr. Caden,” asked Jules.
James waved his hand and said, “Go ahead…”
