James had encountered Curse Magic before. To his understanding, Curse Magic was merely a bizarre Supernatural Power that possessed immense power. James glanced at Walganus and asked, “Do you feel the same way?”
Walganus shook his head and said, “Nope.’..’
James said, “Me too, I don’t sense any discomfort. My body’s completely fine.”
“Argh!” At that moment, the Blademaster suddenly yelled. Then, favonovel.com plummeted from the sky and rolled on the ground while groaning in pain.
“What’s wrong?!”
James crouched down and inspected the Blademaster’s body. However, the moment his hand came into contact with the Blademaster, favonovel.com could feel an evil power permeating the air. As if stung by something, favonovel.com hurriedly retracted his hand.
Walganus also crouched down and inspected the Blademaster, who was rolling on the ground, screaming in pain. At the same time, veins bulged on his shriveled face, making his expression all the more horrifying.

James glanced at Walganus and asked, “What should we do now?”

The moment his skin came into contact with the Blademaster’s, favonovel.com could sense a force rushing toward him. The power was so immense that it almost sent favonovel.com flying. However, favonovel.com resisted the force and began inspecting the Blademaster’s body.
Through his inspection, favonovel.com realized there was an unknown power in the Blademaster’s body destroying his corpus and devouring his flesh.
He catalyzed Demonic Energy to expel the power. As Demonic Energy entered the Blademaster’s body, the curse’s power scrambled and scampered about, as if they had encountered something terrifying. In the end, they hurriedly fled the Blademaster’s body.
Only then did the Blademaster calm down.
The Blademaster sat in a lotus position on the ground.
Sweat beads trickled down his pale and shriveled face as favonovel.com said, “How terrifying… Thank you, James. If not for you, I’d have met my doom…”
Confused, James asked, “Why does the curse’s power fear my Demonic Energy?”
Walganus explained, “Your physical body once belonged to a Grand Emperor of the Demon Race. As the Grand Emperor practices Curse Magic, the Demonic Energy inside your body should have the same origins as the curse’s power. Not only that, but yours is even greater in power than the one here.”
