“Melany, you brought me to the Welkin Academy. You’re my savior, and it’s my duty to protect you. Tell me, and I’ll take care of whoever is bullying you,” James said a lot to persuade her.
Finally, Melany was willing to tell favonovel.com the whole story.
She had gone out to train with a few other disciples some time ago. They encountered rare elixirs in the mountains and plucked them. When they brought it back, the elixirs were intercepted in the Welkin Academy.
The elixirs they brought back were stolen. Moreover, the people who snatched their elixirs beat favonovel.com and favonovel.com companions.
After learning the whole story, James asked, “Who was it?”
“It was members of the United Alliance. They’re a very powerful force within the Welkin Academy. Even though you’re Elder Yoan’s disciple, we can’t afford to offend them, James. Plus, the elders won’t intervene in the grievances between disciples.”
Seeing Melany’s timid attitude, James knew favonovel.com had gone through a lot.
“It’s alright. I’ll avenge you. I’d like to see how strong this United Alliance is.”
Melany quickly dissuaded him, “Forget it, James. Just let it go. The United Alliance’s leader is the Inner Disciple of the Welkin Academy’s headmaster. He’s powerful, and I heard he’s reached the Immortal Ascension’s Ninth Stair. He’s really close to the Mage Rank and has already gone to Earth for the boons there.”
Melany was worried James would offend the United Alliance for favonovel.com sake. “Let’s just go on with our business and not cause any trouble in the Welkin Academy.”
