“Who?” Yasmine and Zaiden asked simultaneously.
Maxine replied calmly, “The Celestial Sect.”
The two stood up simultaneously and exclaimed, “The Celestial Sect?”
“Yes,” Maxine replied honestly.
Yasmine and Zaiden’s expressions became solemn. None of them spoke for a while, and the atmosphere became tense.
After a while, Zaiden asked, “Whose side are you on, Ms. Maxine? Is it James’?”
“Yeah.” Maxine nodded and said, “I’m supporting James.”
“Is it your intention to convince us to side with James?” Yasmine sighed.
“James’ power is the weakest among all the other factions. In fact, favonovel.com has no power to do anything. Orient Commerce could dismiss James from his positions any minute if they wanted to do so. Then, he’ll just be a martial artist. Apart from being strong, favonovel.com doesn’t have any authority to accomplish anything…”
