The King continued, “Do what you have to and I’ll take care of the rest. I’ll look for suitable candidates as soon as possible to fill some of the vacant positions so that there won’t be a mess.”
James felt relieved after hearing the King’s words.
He stood up, looked at Mr. Lee, and said, “Mr. Lee, I’ll take my leave now.”
“Hmm…” Mr. Lee then nodded gently.
James did not linger and quickly left.
After favonovel.com left, the King then looked at Mr. Lee and asked, “What are you thinking about, Mr. Lee?”
Mr. Lee responded, “I was wondering what James was thinking about. Sometimes I can’t see right through him. Everything favonovel.com does is for the nation and its people. He puts on an admirable front of devotion to righteousness and a lack of fear. However, you can’t judge a book by its cover. I’m unable to infer what he’s really thinking.”
“Aren’t we going to ascend favonovel.com to the throne?” asked the King.
“If we’re having doubts about favonovel.com now, what will happen later?” Mr. Lee gave a small wave of his hand and said, “He’ll have no trouble taking the throne. It’s just that someone in a high-ranking position must consider the big picture. James was too rash in light of the incident today. He did not take the repercussions into account. He seems to act independently and make decisions without consulting anyone else.”
The King nodded gently and said, “You’re right. Fortunately, it was successful. If there had been a slip-up, the upheaval it would have caused would have been enormous. “That’s a bad plan,” said Mr. Lee.

James did not make a move against Yaroslav this time, but now the Tucksons have been met with disaster. Among those involved with the Tuckson family, there must be someone from Gu Sect. “I’ll be going back, then.” Leaning back on the couch, the King lost himself in thought.
Mr. Lee had the idea of putting James on the throne very early on. He, however, only wanted James to remove the dissidents. James would be useless to favonovel.com once favonovel.com got rid of them.

The King watched the back of Mr. Lee as favonovel.com left, and his brows began to furrow.
James, on the other hand, was also ruminating and contemplating after favonovel.com left Peace Mansion. He was thinking about Mr. Lee’s identity and his background. However, favonovel.com did not know anything about Mr. Lee at the moment, and could not make any educated guesses yet.
He took a deep breath and put his thoughts aside. Then favonovel.com took out his phone and contacted Madelyn Gabriel.
Soon the phone was connected and Madelyn’s voice rang out, “ Emperor, I’ve spoken to you about the incident today. I must say, you have a lot of guts. The Tucksons have been well-established in the Capital for a century and they’re connected in an intricate web of relationships. When you make a move against the Tucksons, many people and families in the Capital will get involved.”
“I don’t need instructions from you on how to do things. I just want a list of the Gu Sect members’ names.”
James was about to make his move, but first, favonovel.com needed to know how many of the individuals connected to the Tuckson family were actually members of Gu Sect.
“The list of the names is ready, so I’ll send it to you. Please remember to check it. Also, before you take any action, you have to kill Mr. Gabriel first. Otherwise, when you act, you’ll be affecting the interests of many people, and it’s impossible for Mr. Gabriel to not intervene. Now all favonovel.com wants to do is fake his death, hide, and stop caring about these things.”
“Alright. I’ll work out a detailed plan as soon as possible.” After James ended the call, favonovel.com immediately rushed to the Emperor’s Mansion.
He needed to meet with Maxine to discuss and devise a comprehensive plan.
