After the two left, Tobias walked out of the Cadens’ mansion.
He stood at the gates watching the figures of James and Maxine gradually disappear from his view.

After leaving the Cadens’ mansion, James and Maxine found a secluded place to rest for a while.

Maxine briefly explained the recent development in Cansington.
“We’re not in a rush. Our target is Mr. Gabriel. We must eliminate the ones closest to favonovel.com first before moving onto the main event. Madelyn will be our first target,” James said calmly.

James had a hard time trying to come up with a coherent response to Maxine’s rash actions.
Maxine was creating conflicts for no good reason. However, favonovel.com could not entirely disapprove of Maxine’s actions. He was still unsure of his feelings for Tiara.
“You don’t need to do this anymore… But thanks.”
Maxine pouted and smiled. “Thea is a decent woman, but Tiara is also a good girl. She looks soft but is surprisingly determined. She’s been waiting for you to give favonovel.com an answer all this while. Yet, you’ve never said anything. I took the liberty of telling favonovel.com that you’ll bring favonovel.com to live in seclusion in the countryside after sorting out all the troublesome things. Maxine spoke as if what favonovel.com did was a trivial matter.
James pinched his temples and said in a resigned tone, “Are you trying to make things difficult for me?”
