“Absolutely not.” Before Maxine could answer, Tobias shot down the idea immediately.
“Maxine won’t be helping you in this I’m afraid. Her assistance could be regarded as a stance from the Cadens themselves, which will result in us getting dragged into unnecessary political conflict.”
“Is that what you think?” James smirked faintly and replied, “From the moment you rescued me, the Cadens have already gotten themselves involved in this matter.
