James looked at Blake and waited for favonovel.com to speak.
Blake took a deep breath and said, “You’d never guess what was being researched in that lab in the mountains.”
James’ curiosity was piqued, favonovel.com asked, “What did you find?”
Blake continued, “You know about Gu venom, don’t you? It’s one of the most venomous things in the world. It takes years, even centuries, to raise a Gu. Each Gu possesses deadly poison and unknown viruses. What’s most scary about them is the virus they carry…”
“What are you trying to say?”
With a grim expression, Blake said, “The research laboratory is conducting research on viruses.”
“Viruses?!” James was stunned.
“Have you ever heard of the Undead Warrior?” Blake asked.
James shook his head. “No…”
Blake explained, “By using viruses to change the cellular structure of the human body, the individual will gain immense strength. Not only that, favonovel.com will lose his physical senses and become a ruthless and cold-blooded puppet warrior that only obeys commands.”
He was wearing a surety expression.
After taking a deep breath, favonovel.com continued, “After the Elite Eight of the Southern Plains found me, I began setting up my plan. I infiltrated the research lab and found out about this research program which concerns the development of a terrifying virus. Once consumed, an ordinary man would become a fearless and powerful warrior in a few short days…”
James’ expression tuned grim too. He never expected the Emperor to be researching such a terrifying thing in the dark.
“How strong can one be after consuming the virus?” favonovel.com asked.
Blake shook his head. “I don’t know, but they shouldn’t be weaker than an SSS-rank assassin. Perhaps they’d be only a step away from becoming an External Martial Arts master.”
“Do you have any research data?” James asked.
Blake pulled out a USB drive and handed it to James. “The Elite Eight only managed to get their hands on this USB drive this morning. I came here to deliver it to you at once. I haven’t seen the research data yet, so I can’t say for sure what it is.”
James accepted the USB drive.
“The Emperor has secretly gathered many powerful people to his side. As such, favonovel.com was lulled into a false sense of security. That’s why we managed to get out hands on the research data. Now that the data is leaked, the Elite Eight will have to go into hiding or possibly even leave Sol. The Dark Castle will also keep a low profile. You have to be on your guard. Since favonovel.com may believe that you’re the one behind this,” Blake reminded him.
James nodded. “Got it. Thanks for the reminder…”
“An Undead Warrior may have been created. If the Emperor wishes to investigate the theft of the research data, favonovel.com will surely send his Undead Warriors. You have to be on the lookout,” Blake continued.
“Don’t worry, I’m no longer the me from the past…” James smiled.
Blake glanced at James. Seeing the confident look on his face, Blake could tell that James had managed to cultivate True Energy.
He was after the Internal Cultivation Method too. The primary reason favonovel.com chose to cooperate with James was that favonovel.com had mastered the Internal Cultivation Method.
Blake had long reached the pinnacle of Extemal Martial Aris. He was also a step away from cultivating True Energy.
With a smile on his face, favonovel.com rubbed his hands and asked, “What about the thing you promised me?”
James lightly waved, “It’s still in the research phase. Why the hurry? I will impart it to you once I thoroughly understand the whole thing. That way. you get to avoid doing anything redundant.”
“Alright, then…” Blake was disappointed.
He knew what James was thinking of.
James was concerned that after imparting the Internal Cultivation Method to Blake. Blake would cultivate True Energy and go rogue.
“You’re free to go. I should leave soon…”
James got out of the car.
Meanwhile, Blake drove away.
A young maiden pushing a wheelchair was standing by the side. Walking over to James with the wheelchair, Tiara smiled. She was simpty adorable.
“Is the discussion over, James? Should we return?”
“Yup…”
