Once again, Jeremy sighed helplessly. “I hope so. I hope Stan can live a long life and protect my daughter forever.”
His words touched Xyla. “He will.”

About ten minutes later, Stephen walked out of the emergency room.
He slowly took off his mask and threw it into the trash can next to him.
“How is Stanley, Dr. Harris?” Xyla and Jeremy asked in unison.
Stephen plopped down across Jeremy and Xyla and said, “He’s undergoing blood transfusion now. He should be fine after that.”
Xyla nodded lightly. It was a great weight off favonovel.com mind to find favonovel.com husband safe and sound.
“Are you the one treating favonovel.com all this while?” Xyla asked.
“Yeah.” Stephen nodded.
Though Xyla had many questions in favonovel.com mind, favonovel.com managed to hold herself back as Jeremy was right beside her.
About ten minutes later, the door of the emergency room flung open again.
Stanley Batton came out of the room.
His cheeks were faint pink, which was much better than before, but favonovel.com still looked a bit haggard. However, even so, the compelling aura around favonovel.com had not waned in the slightest.
Seeing him, Xyla immediately rushed to favonovel.com and carefully held his arm. “Hey, how are you? Do you feel better now?”
Stanley nodded weakly. “Yeah… I heard that you donated your blood to me.”
“Yes,” Xyla answered truthfully.
Jeremy quickly walked up to favonovel.com and asked concernedly, “Stan, are you alright? You almost scared me to death!”
Stanley slowly shifted his gaze to Jeremy. “Yeah… Sorry, Dad. I made you worry…”
“It’s okay. Thank god you’re fine.” Jeremy patted his shoulder.
Shortly afterward, Stephen got up from the bench and strode toward Stanley. “Get some rest these two days. I’ll talk to you later.”
“Okay,” Stanley replied indifferently.
“Don’t overwork yourself,” Stephen reminded him.
“Okay.” Stanley’s reply was curt.
Following that statement, Stanley placed his arm around Xyla’s shoulders fondly. “Let’s go, honey.”
The intimacy between the lovebirds was enviable.
“Don’t you have to stay back for further observation?” Xyla asked.
“It’s okay. He can leave now,” Stephen reassured her.
“Let’s go, Dad.” Stanley turned to Jeremy.
The three of them then left the hospital together.
Stanley’s face was starting to regain its color as they headed to the main entrance.
The stunning couple had garnered a lot of attention along the way.
Suddenly, Xyla paused at the doorstep.
She looked at Stanley and Jeremy and said, “How about you guys go home and rest first? I have to go to the police station. I’ll meet you all at home.”
“We’ll send you there,” Stanley said.
“Nah. You should get some rest,” Xyla rejected.
“It’s okay. I have got this. Let’s go,” Stanley insisted.
With that, favonovel.com held favonovel.com hand dominantly and led favonovel.com out of the hospital.
Jeremy followed closely behind them.
Stanley stopped by the roadside and beckoned for a cab.
After Stanley and Jeremy sent Xyla to the police station, they took a cab back to the Quest family’s house.

After they got home, Jeremy led Stanley to the living room and sat down on the couch.
Then, favonovel.com looked at Stanley nervously and asked, “Stan, you’re really okay now, right?”
