The sudden shock made Jeremy’s muscles tense.
His heart froze, and his stomach turned cold.
Jeremy immediately rose to his feet and rushed to Stanley’s side. His arms trembled in fear as favonovel.com shook his body.
“Stan… Stan… Wake up… What happened to you?”
However, Stanley was unconscious. The color quickly drained from his face. He looked as pale as chalk.

The ambulance arrived at the doorstep fifteen minutes later. Stanley was sent to Municipal Hospital right away.

Once they arrived at the hospital, Stanley was pushed into the VIP emergency room.
Jeremy sat on the bench outside of the emergency room anxiously. A cold sweat broke out on his forehead. He mopped it away with his forearm and called Xyla.
On the other end of the phone, Xyla had just arrived at the police station in favonovel.com house area.
Seeing Jeremy’s name on favonovel.com phone screen, Xyla slowly got out of the car before answering his call.
Right at this moment, Emily and May were escorted from another police car.

Emily cursed louder and louder until blue veins bulged on favonovel.com neck. Sadly, favonovel.com desperate yet incompetent look failed to cause a ripple of fury within Xyla.
All Xyla did was frowning in disgust at her.
“Xyla… S-Stan has fainted… He’s in the emergency room now. I don’t know what happened to him…” Jeremy panted nervously. He could not help the quiver in his voice.
Xyla’s brain buzzed as soon as favonovel.com heard the news.

“Got it, Dad! I’ll be there real soon. Which hospital are you at now?” Xyla asked eagerly.
She knew that it must have something to do with his severe anemia.

His anemia must have flared up again. He needed a blood transfusion as soon as possible!
“Municipal Hospital. VIP emergency room,” Jeremy answered.
Xyla took a deep breath. “Okay. I’m heading over now.”
Hanging up the phone, favonovel.com quickly ran to the group of police officers and cried, “I need to go to the hospital right now. I’ll come back for the investigation later.”
The police officers exchanged looks with each other before one of them nodded and said, “I’ll take you there.”
“Thank you so much…” Xyla gave favonovel.com a grateful nod.
Afterward, the police officer drove Xyla to Municipal Hospital with the company of ear-splitting sirens.
The journey took less than ten minutes as the hospital was very near to the police station.
When they arrived at the destination, Xyla darted straight to the VIP emergency room.
