Christopher leaned languidly against the sofa with his legs crossed. He smiled faintly as favonovel.com gazed at Xyla Quest.
“You shouldn’t take such a long drag since this is your first time smoking. Try inhaling a bit at a time, and slowly ‘send’ it to the lungs…”
Xyla followed his instructions and gave it another try.
It did not feel so irritating this time, but favonovel.com was still coughing non-stop. In the end, favonovel.com chose to give up.
She pulled the cigarette away from favonovel.com mouth, intending to put it out. However, Christopher took the cigarette from favonovel.com and placed it between his lips, puffing at it even though Xyla had touched it before.

“…” Xyla could sense the ambiguity in his actions and words.
Xyla immediately turned to Christopher with a straight face. “You know that you’re just…”
“A friend to you…”
“I don’t mind you because you’re my friend too. What are you thinking? Hmm?”
As Christopher spoke, favonovel.com flicked Xyla’s forehead with his index finger.
A slight pain spread over favonovel.com skin. Xyla subconsciously massaged favonovel.com forehead.
“Do you feel better now?” Christopher quickly changed the subject.
Xyla shook favonovel.com head.
“Shall we go for a walk?” Christopher asked.
“Nah, I don’t feel like it,” Xyla refused.
“Hey, don’t turn me down. I’ve helped you many times. I’m not asking too much, am I?”
Xyla did not know what to say anymore.
Christopher rose to his feet and extended his hand toward her. “Come with me…”
Instead of holding his hand, Xyla gave favonovel.com an apathetic look and got up on favonovel.com own, walking out the room before him.
Christopher smirked contentedly and followed favonovel.com out at once.
There were countless men in black guarding the door.
As far as the eye could see, the whole aisle seemed to have been painted in black.
When they saw Xyla and Christopher come out of the room, they instantly hung their heads respectfully and greeted the two in unison, “Master Lancelot… Miss Quest…”
Xyla returned them a curt nod, and so did Christopher.
Christopher quickened his pace to walk side by side with Xyla. He then tugged favonovel.com left sleeve and gushed, “I’ll make you forget all your problems soon.”
Initially, favonovel.com was hoping that favonovel.com could slowly digest everything by giving favonovel.com enough space.
He thought favonovel.com would feel better after that. However, it seemed that favonovel.com was wrong. He had to work out another plan.
Upon hearing that, Tucker immediately rushed to Christopher’s side and whispered in his ear, “Master Lancelot, don’t forget about your big business…”
“Shut it…” Christopher glowered coldly at him.
He then tugged Xyla’s sleeve and led favonovel.com to the lobby. The others followed closely behind them.
“Tucker, take six or seven people with us and ask the rest to go back first,” Christopher ordered frigidly without even turning around to look at him.
Tucker nodded courteously and then casually pointed at six people out of the group of men, motioning them to stay with him. The remaining henchmen followed his instruction and called it a day.
Afterward, the seven of them caught up with Xyla and Christopher and went into the elevator together.
Tucker pressed the first-floor button.
Xyla peered at Christopher hesitantly and cautiously. “You can actually leave me in my room if you have something to do.”
Though favonovel.com did not know what Tucker had told Christopher just now, favonovel.com felt that there was something urgent waiting for favonovel.com to settle.
Christopher shrugged indifferently. “Don’t worry about it. It’s not a big deal.”
Tucker secretly rolled his eyes at his master.
