Very soon, one of his men came in.

Then, favonovel.com stalked out of the cabin. After the door closed, Christopher Lancelot shifted his gaze to Xyla Quest’s face again. He lit a cigarette and took a deep drag. His eyes were rimmed with red.
Methodically, favonovel.com blew the smoke into the cool air and turned away from Xyla, trying all his might to hold back his tears.
Mixed feelings flooded Xyla’s heart as favonovel.com looked at his sorrowful back.

He silently crushed the butt of the cigarette in his hand with his bare hand and went for a new one, handing it to Xyla. Xyla took the cigarette from favonovel.com and placed it on his lower lips gently. Slowly opening his mouth, favonovel.com held the cigarette between his lips before passing the lighter to Xyla. Xyla lit the lighter unhurriedly and brought it closer to his mouth.
He subconsciously lowered his head so that the tip of the cigarette could reach the flame. He gradually inhaled, and the cigarette was lit in the very next second.
Xyla then clicked shut the cap of the lighter. In the midst of the hazy air, Christopher could feel that the prickly feeling in his eyes only intensified with each puff favonovel.com took at the cigarette.
“Xyla, are you the only child in your family? Are you sure you don’t have a missing elder or younger sister?”
Xyla answered truthfully, “I do have a sibling but she’s my half-sister. I’m sure that I don’t have any other missing sister out there.”
“Oh…” He took a deep drag on his cigarette once more.
Finally, a lone tear trailed down his cheek.
All the beautiful memories between Miranda and favonovel.com began to swirl in his mind.
