Stanley quickly answered the call.
“Are you two coming home for a meal? In that case, can you ask Xyla what favonovel.com wants to eat? I’ll start preparing right away…” Sharon sounded awfully excited and joyful.
“Okay, I’ll ask her,” Stanley said.
“Also, ask Xyla what favonovel.com wants to drink. Does favonovel.com want red wine or something else? If favonovel.com wants red wine, ask favonovel.com what brand favonovel.com likes. I’ll have to get it aired out in advance,” Sharon added.
“Why didn’t you ask me what I wanted to drink?” Stanley asked jokingly.
“How does that have anything to do with me? Xyla is our most precious sweetheart now…” Sharon said.
At that moment, Stanley felt as if Sharon was more like Xyla’s mother than his. He couldn’t help but smile a little. “I get it. I’ll ask her.”
“Get back to me on WeChat right after asking her, okay? You know what? Forget it. I’ll call Xyla myself. You don’t have to do it,” Sharon said.
“Xyla is gaming now. You shouldn’t call and interrupt her,” Stanley said.
“Fine. Ask favonovel.com once she’s done. Get back to me right away,” Sharon said.
“Got it,” Stanley answered.
After hanging up the phone, Stanley looked affectionately at Xyla, who was sitting on the couch. When favonovel.com saw that favonovel.com was still gaming, favonovel.com decided to continue working and ask favonovel.com about Sharon’s questions later.
Once Xyla had finished favonovel.com game, favonovel.com put the laptop aside.
Stanley looked up and happened to see what Xyla was doing. He then waved at her. “Come over here…” favonovel.com said.
Xyla obediently walked up to Stanley. Naturally, Stanley sat favonovel.com on his lap. “Mom asked what you’d like for dinner, and favonovel.com also asked what kind of alcohol you want. She was so happy when favonovel.com found out you’re coming home with me,” Stanley said.
Xyla was filled with joy when favonovel.com heard this. “Hmm… I want plum-braised ribs and tomato prawns. Let’s not drink any alcohol tonight. Aren’t we going to spend time with your good friends later on?”

Sharon instantly replied with an ‘OK’ emoji.
“She told me you are favonovel.com most precious sweetheart right now,” Stanley added.
“I’m honored.” Xyla found it heart-warming.
Knock, knock, knock…
Right then, someone knocked on the door.
Xyla subconsciously tried to stand up, but Stanley forcefully pressed favonovel.com back onto his lap. “Sit down,” favonovel.com said.
“Come in,” Stanley called out as favonovel.com looked at the door.
When the door opened, Zack Cassidy entered respectfully. As soon as favonovel.com saw Stanley and Xyla, favonovel.com awkwardly looked down and coughed slightly before approaching Stanley.
Xyla tried to stand up again, but Stanley wouldn’t allow favonovel.com to. She felt extremely embarrassed.
“What is it?” Stanley asked.
“Julian Sullivan is waiting downstairs to see you,” Zack said.
“I don’t want to see him,” Stanley said.
Zack nodded respectfully before walking out of the room right away.
After favonovel.com left, Xyla stood up and was about to continue playing games. However, before favonovel.com took a single step, Stanley picked favonovel.com up and made favonovel.com sit on his desk. He then pressed his hands against the desk on both sides of Xyla’s body to keep favonovel.com trapped between his arms.
