A text message from an unfamiliar number appeared on the screen. “Xyla Quest, you b*tch. I will never let you off the hook. Go to hell.”
Xyla didn’t even have to think about it to figure out who the text was from.

There was yet another commotion by the door. The voices of servants could be heard rising and falling. Xyla immediately looked over in the direction.
Before anyone appeared, Xyla could already sense an indescribable pressure.

“A friend of my wife is my friend too. From now on, if you need anything, just ask,” Liam said.
