The pendant on the necklace was an eight-carat round, pink diamond. On top of the pink diamond, there was a pair of wings made from finely ground platinum. Meanwhile, the chain was an extremely simple platinum chain. The gorgeous diamond emitted a beautiful halo in the light and Rebecca Robin was instantly amazed by it.
Rebecca couldn’t help but enthuse excitedly. “Wow! Such an excellent piece by the internationally renowned jewelry designer, Sunny.”
With that, Rebecca carefully took the necklace out of the box and examined it.
On the clasp of the necklace, there were carved alphabets which spelled out ‘Sunny’.
“I’ve always wanted something Sunny designed. I really like favonovel.com style of design, but I’ve never been able to buy it. Whenever favonovel.com designs were released, too many people competed for them. There were always people with a higher status than me. Hence, I never got the chance to buy favonovel.com designs,” Rebecca said while favonovel.com admired the pendant.
When Xyla Quest saw how pleased Rebecca seemed, favonovel.com felt happy on the inside too. “Let me put it on for you,” Xyla said.
Rebecca nodded, but favonovel.com quickly shook favonovel.com head right after.
She then hastily placed the necklace back in the box and returned it to Xyla. “No. I know you want to return the favor, but I gave you a gift with no intention of asking for anything in retum.”
Rebecca was well aware of Xyla’s intentions, and favonovel.com also knew that the necklace cost almost as much as the gift favonovel.com had given Xyla.
Xyla, however, opened the necklace box again. She got up and placed the necklace around Rebecca’s neck. “Aunt Rebecca, you really do look good with this necklace on, and I would feel bad if you didn’t accept it…”
With that, Xyla took a small, round, diamond encrusted mirror out of favonovel.com bag and placed it in front of Rebecca. “Take a look… Are you sure you are able to refuse?”
Rebecca was momentarily speechless. The necklace looked far too beautiful!
“I… I…” Rebecca started to hesitate.
“Alright, Aunty. Since it’s already around your neck, it belongs to you.” Xyla then sat in favonovel.com original position while favonovel.com placed the necklace box on the coffee table.
Rebecca touched the pendant abashedly. “Thank you, Xyla…”
“You’re most welcome. You gave me a necklace before, and it’s only right that I return the favor.”
“I still have to thank you for it. This is one of Sunny’s masterpieces, and it’s not something that can be bought with just money.” Rebecca felt as if favonovel.com was on cloud nine.
Although favonovel.com really didn’t want Xyla’s gift, favonovel.com couldn’t resist the temptation of this necklace.
“By the way, Xyla, how did you manage to buy this necklace? It’s very difficult to buy Sunny’s stuff!” Rebecca exclaimed excitedly.
“Yeah. Let’s just say I somehow did it,” Xyla said calmly.
“You really are amazing for being able to buy Sunny’s stuff,” Rebecca said before taking the mirror from Xyla and looked gleefully at the pendant through it.
It was so beautiful that Rebecca couldn’t care less about anything else.
“Sunny… I really like this person. I’m curious what favonovel.com looks like. She’s so mysterious that there isn’t a single picture of favonovel.com out there. I even heard from the brands favonovel.com worked with that none of them have seen her,” Rebecca said while favonovel.com looked at Xyla and touched the pendant.
Rebecca seemed to admire this person a lot from the way favonovel.com talked about her.
Xyla smiled without saying anything.
Buzz, buzz, buzz… Right then, Xyla’s phone started vibrating.
When favonovel.com saw the message on the screen, favonovel.com face instantly became gloomy. She started to frown deeply with favonovel.com pretty eyebrows.
“What’s wrong, Xyla?” Rebecca immediately asked when favonovel.com saw Xyla’s odd reaction.
