Some of them must have been influenced by others to jump on the bandwagon. Perhaps, these people had always been critical of others and merely took this opportunity to vent their hatred. There would always be a group of people in the world who derived pleasure from verbally hurting other people through hateful comments on the internet. To these people, their keyboards were like their weapon of choice. They liked to vent their suppressed negative emotions through a set of self-defined logic in the real world.
After briefly looking through the comments, Xyla exited from the topic.

Xyla knew how disgusting the comments would be without even tapping on the link.
She then accidentally swiped down on favonovel.com screen, causing the list of search results to refresh automatically. Right then, a third item appeared on the list.

Xyla knew this would get on the list at some point. She just did not expect that Mary would act so quickly. After smiling bitterly, Xyla tapped on the link.
The first thing that came into sight was the most popular Twitter post related to the topic from a major marketing account.

After that, Xyla opened the comment section. Various mean things were said about her, including ‘evil woman, b*tch, sow, get into a car accident, get whipped’ among others.
Every phrase felt like a sharp knife jabbing into Xyla’s heart. However, these things did not affect Xyla significantly. Very soon, favonovel.com chose to ignore the comments and shifted favonovel.com attention elsewhere.
Closely after that, Xyla saw Mary’s verified account had recently published a new post. “You must always forgive the other person regardless of how bad favonovel.com is,” Mary wrote.

Since favonovel.com hand did not fully cover favonovel.com face, favonovel.com red and swollen cheek was still visible.
Although the mean comments earlier could not affect Xyla emotionally, Mary’s b*tchy post on Twitter and Instagram could.
While Xyla’s gaze shifted downward, favonovel.com opened the comment section under Mary’s Twitter post.

The more Xyla read these comments, the more ridiculous favonovel.com found them to be. However, these bystanders did not know the truth.
With Mary telling the story so convincingly, Xyla could not blame them for believing in her. Xyla immediately took screenshots of Mary’s Twitter post, as well as the negative comments about herself in the list of most popular topics on the internet.
