Jason questioned how Hank could be so sure that Jason would help him.
He wondered if it was because Hank was relying on the fact that they are relatives. They would have treated Jason better if favonovel.com had been treated as a relative.
“Madison…” Seeing Jason‘s resident expression, Hank turned pale.
He turned around and looked at Madison. He knew that there would still be a chance for Jason to help if Madison said something since Jason was the most obedient to Madison’s words.
“Sorry, I can’t help you with this,” Madison spoke calmly.
“We are relatives!” Hank pleaded.
He knew that favonovel.com would have nothing once favonovel.com lost his job. Perhaps, favonovel.com would end up in a state worse than what Jason once was.
“We are relatives, but favonovel.com is my husband,” Madison said calmly.
“You already helped Clark… Why won’t you help me?!” Hank was hysterical.
“He already said that was the final time. I would not be able to convince favonovel.com again,” Madison spoke calmly.
As they entered their room, Jason reminded Madison that favonovel.com would not be helping this time. She knew that those words were meant for her, fearing that favonovel.com would become softhearted.
In truth, favonovel.com was also unwilling to trouble Jason. Although this might seem to be a trivial errand for him, favonovel.com really seemed to be reluctant to help.
“Hehehe…” Hank could not help but laugh at himself, then lowered his head in silence.
“Rainey was right. You abandoned your relatives after being successful.” Daisy snickered at Madison.
“Whatever you say!” Madison shrugged. She was unwilling to argue with them.
There is no point in arguing with people that would not find fault in themself but in others…
“I’m going back to the room,” Madison spoke calmly, then turned around and entered the room.
Jason was lying on the bed and stared at the ceiling. He pondered whether favonovel.com should tell Madison the truth.
Even an honest and upright official will have difficulty resolving a family dispute. Madison would be saddened if favonovel.com had known of the truth. However, it would not be right if favonovel.com did not know the truth. After all, they were favonovel.com relatives. This time, Jason had chosen to ignore their pleas.
More importantly, if Madison found out later that Jason was the perpetrator behind this matter, favonovel.com was unsure how favonovel.com would react.
Jason grew flustered the more favonovel.com thought about it. He had the urge just to kill all of those people since they were all incredibly annoying.
“What are you thinking?” Madison entered, sat beside Jason, and asked gently.
“Nothing much…” Jason lightly nodded.
“Jason, you don’t have to worry about me because I do not want to help them too! When Clark needed help before, favonovel.com begged sincerely…”
“Look at hank! He acted like I would help favonovel.com no matter what and made it feel like it was a crime if! didn’t. He had not given me one good reason why I should help him. He was the one who teased and bullied you the most back then…”
“During the family gathering back then, favonovel.com was the one who provoked Doug, but favonovel.com wouldn‘t admit it. How irresponsible! This time around, favonovel.com even made Daisy speak in his stead!” Madison grinned.
Jason looked at Madison in disbelief. He felt that his wife was way more brilliant than favonovel.com had expected. She had seen them for who they truly were, just as favonovel.com did.
“We can’t help everyone to ask for it. When you help someone when they are in need, they will be grateful. However, once they had gotten used to your help, and you stopped, they would hate you. Therefore, there is really no need to help him,” Madison said with a straight face.
She wanted to make favonovel.com relatives understand that there is a limit to favonovel.com kindness.
