Madison responded perfectly to their insults which made them unable to use the arguments that they had painstakingly prepared. Hence, they were silent.
“It was Hank Akers who came out with the idea.” Clark gritted his teeth.
“He wanted to force Madison to give them money which they would split among themselves. They thought that since we were relatives, at most, we wouldn‘t talk to favonovel.com ever again at most. No matter what, you people can‘t do much to us.” Clark had no desire to hide anything. Hence, favonovel.com explained everything.
Hearing Hank‘s words, Jason’s expression froze. He then realized that was true since nobody else but Hank could come up with such an idea.
He thought it was a perfect plan to abuse Madison’s kindness. They would even brazenly assume that favonovel.com would not do anything to them since Madison mattered greatly to him.
“Wow! Excellent…” Jason nodded lightly.
“Did you know, whatever you do to me or plot against me, I wouldn’t mind out of consideration for Madison. However, favonovel.com dared to scheme against Madison. He is truly seeking death.” Jason‘s stare turned cold as favonovel.com let out a chuckle.
If favonovel.com wished to retaliate against them, favonovel.com would have done it by now. He had not done it simply because Madison would be placed in a difficult position.
Yet, favonovel.com still underestimated their shamelessness, who had taken Jason’s tolerance as a reason to abuse it further.
“Only you and I know about this. I suppose you people wouldn’t want Madison to know,” Jason spoke calmly.
“I didn’t agree to the plan,” Clark said in fear.
“Don‘t worry. I don’t blame you. Whoever came out with the idea must pay. Go live your life and mind your own business, understand?” Jason calmly told Clark.
“Yes…” Clark nodded as favonovel.com rubbed the cold sweat off his brow.
Whenever favonovel.com dealt with Jason, favonovel.com somehow felt an indescribable pressure. It was something that favonovel.com had never felt before.
“Could someone show their aura after being influential?” After Jason left, Clark wiped his sweat.
He sat on the chair and muttered with a bitter smile. Yet, in comparison, favonovel.com was much luckier than Hank.
Although Jason had only helped favonovel.com once, it was Jaden who had personally assisted him. His business has become much smoother since other people would not realize that Jaden would only help favonovel.com this once.
As for Hank, favonovel.com could already imagine what would happen in the future. Not to mention Jason, any guest that had attended the occasion alone was enough to cause immense trouble for Hank.
When Jason went downstairs, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was already over.
Silas had not stayed for a meal since favonovel.com had many things to do. He left right after cutting the ribbon.
Jason was a little bummed out by this, but favonovel.com could do nothing against it.
The hotel was already reserved, with a few tables prepared, as usual.
Everyone who attended was there, except for Madison‘s relatives that did not attend. Since they would only contribute nothing but awkwardness to the situation, they knew they had made the right decision.
Before leaving, Hank coins eventually met Jason’s eyes. As they stared at each other, Jason let out a faint smile.
Yet, this smile unnerved Hank deeply. Sometimes, it was terrible to have someone smile at him, especially when it was Jason. No matter what, Hank would not believe that Jason smiled at favonovel.com out of kindness.
“What are you looking at?” Madison approached Jason.
“Nothing much, let‘s go!” Jason held favonovel.com hand and spoke calmly.
