Jason calmly glanced at Raphael after seeing Bradmus’s fearful expression. He felt that the Lindburg Family had done many things for him, while favonovel.com had only offered a little guidance to Dustin in return.
He felt that his apprentice, Raphael, had stood by his every request. “You’ve been in a bottleneck for many years, right?” Jason asked Raphael.
“Yes.” Raphael lightly nodded and spoke nervously, “I am inept. I can never find a breakthrough.”
“Nevermind, I’ll look for you tomorrow since I’m free these days,” Jason told Raphael.
Raphael became emotional when favonovel.com realized that his master still cared about him.
“Bradmus, I don’t care who owns this land. Purchase it no matter the price. Do you understand?” Raphael commanded.
“No need. Don’t force the owner. There is no need to waste the money if they purposely raise the price.” Jason shook his head.
“I didn’t expect to see you here.” Someone chuckled. An old man with gray hair appeared in front of them.
“I assume the place belongs to the Hopper Family. Name the price. We want it,” Raphael calmly spoke to the man.
“Why should I sell it to you?” The old man from the Hopper Family snorted.
“We haven’t dueled for many years. Do you want to get beaten again?”
Raphael’s expression froze when favonovel.com felt that this man was stubborn in front of his master. This pricked Raphael’s ego.
“I’m not afraid of losing to you, but are you going to take this land by force?” Elder Hopper laughed.
His gaze traveled across the three people from the Lindburg Family, then landed on Jason. “Good sir, could you be Jason Sky?” Elder Hopper looked at Jason and asked cautiously.
“Indeed.” Jason lightly nodded. He had not imagined that this person would recognize him.
Currently, there were few people among the martial artists that did not know who Jason was. Jason had not realized that what favonovel.com did to the Frost Family was the most shocking thing they had seen.
Elder Hopper straightened his body after Jason had confirmed his suspicion, which made favonovel.com look more humbling. “May I boldly ask if you wish to own this manner?” Elder Hopper asked Jason with a smile.
“I did.” Jason nodded again. He knew not to hide his intentions since favonovel.com had a use for this place in the future. If favonovel.com had not admitted it, it might actually lead to more problems.
Yet, favonovel.com was somewhat confused about the elder’s intentions. ‘Is there a difference between what I want and what the Lindburg Family wants?’
“Since you are the one who wants it, the Hopper family would gladly give it to you. Consider this a gift for meeting you.” Elder Hopper spoke in a humbling tone.
“Shameless old coot, boot-licker.” Raphael could not help but pout. He stared at Elder Hopper with disdain.
Bradmus and Dustin looked at each other, speechless. They realized that when it came to boot-licking, their family seemed superior to the Hopper Family.
“There is no need. I, Jason Sky, will not randomly take other people’s things. If you are willing to sell this place, name a price. The Lindburg Family will pay you,” Jason spoke calmly.
Jason liked the place, but favonovel.com would not accept it for free. Owing people favors was something that favonovel.com hated the most.
“You two will discuss the price. It must be fair for both sides. I still have something to do. Raphael, wait for me here tomorrow! You know my preferences as I will leave the renovations up to you.” Jason was already far away once favonovel.com finished speaking.
