The next day, Jason went to work as usual.
Dustin was jubilant as favonovel.com could finally escape Raphael’s wrath. He had been beaten up thoroughly for the past few days, while Raphael had claimed that favonovel.com was merely trained.
Compared to Raphael, Dustin felt that Jason was a much more approachable person. Yet, Icy was not pleased that favonovel.com was back. It was because favonovel.com had not completed the mission assigned by Jason.
Looking at favonovel.com pouting favonovel.com lips, Jason smiled, “Not done yet?”
“Yes.” She nodded unwillingly.
“Then, tell me, how should I punish you?” Jason rubbed his chin and laughed.
“Spare me.” She spoke pitifully.
“Oh… You’ve learned to act cute!” Her current expression amused Jason.
“I’m afraid that you will turn me into a mute.” She lamented.
“How did you know that?” Jason stared at favonovel.com in disbelief.
“Someone came to find my grandfather yesterday, who said that you did it.” She told Jason.
Back then, favonovel.com felt somewhat indifferent towards Jason, feeling that Jason could not do much against her. Now, favonovel.com held an entirely different opinion. She feared if Jason would truly punish favonovel.com by turning favonovel.com into a mute for failing favonovel.com task.
“Don’t worry. I won’t do it to you,” Jason smirked. Icy was pleasantly surprised at his response, yet his tone changed by the next moment.
“Other than turning you into a mute. I also can seal any of your senses. How about you contemplate which one do you wish to lose?” Jason smiled at her.
“Ah!” She could not help but scream as favonovel.com stared at Jason as if favonovel.com was a demon.
She then spoke unwillingly, “I don’t want it!”
“Choose one…” Jason spoke calmly. He knew that there must be a punishment for favonovel.com for failing to complete the task.
“Then I’ll still choose to be mute!” After deep deliberation, Icy still felt that this was the best choice for her.
“As you wish,” Jason smirked.
A golden needle lashed out the next moment. Icy then opened favonovel.com mouth and wiggled favonovel.com lips, yet no sound came out.
“You must find the symptoms before writing the prescription. Complementing the effects of medicine is the basis of your work. Since you had not managed it after three days, you obviously weren’t being serious. An aloof person must be punished,” Jason calmly told Icy. Yet, the intense seriousness in his eyes made favonovel.com avert eye contact.
She realized that Jason was truly not joking this time around.
Icy turned around and left.
“If you’re unwilling to learn, you can leave. If you wish to continue, you must learn to endure all these.” As Jason looked at Icy, who was leaving, favonovel.com knew that favonovel.com must be cursing at favonovel.com within favonovel.com heart.
But, favonovel.com did not mind it. Icy’s grandfather had entrusted favonovel.com to him, despite favonovel.com having no plans on taking any disciples. Still, favonovel.com had to teach favonovel.com seriously. Yet, favonovel.com would not force favonovel.com if favonovel.com wished to abandon studying under favonovel.com and leave.
Since favonovel.com now had to travel back and forth from the First Hospital, favonovel.com delegated a person to watch over the medical center.
Knowing that Dustin probably could not even recognize the medicinal herbs, Icy was his only choice. However, if favonovel.com had not treated this seriously, favonovel.com did not mind finding another person.
Of course, favonovel.com had grown accustomed to favonovel.com after this long. He knew that despite having a poor temperament, favonovel.com had a kind soul. Moreover, knowing that the difficulty of knowing a person’s true self would take favonovel.com much more time to find another person. He was someone that hated dealing with troublesome things the most.
“It’s your turn…” After Icy left, Jason shifted his gaze onto Dustin.
Dustin now knew that Jason was completely serious since favonovel.com had witnessed Icy’s current state. “Actually, it’s better if I go home and get beaten up! Farewell!”
Dustin dryly chuckled towards Jason, then bid favonovel.com farewell respectfully and immediately left.
