After three days had passed, the energy around the area slowly subsided.

Meanwhile, Jason looked sickly pale as a trail of blood ran down his mouth. He had also swallowed some tiny roots of the ginseng because favonovel.com would not have been able to defend himself against the onslaught of attacks otherwise.

He took a breath while waiting for his wounds to stabilize. He then looked towards the area where the energy came from, then smirked. “I’d like to see what’s so mysterious about you?”
He walked forward while the scenery changed immediately. He saw a sword that was levitating midair. Its blade was made from a dazzling light.
Jason was pleasantly surprised when favonovel.com saw the sword. He stuttered, “This is… Excalibur?”
The Excalibur was a weapon of the ancient king, Alexander. It was forged with bronze at its greatest peaks. The legends had foretold it could devastate armies with a single swipe. ‘
After the great Alexander had died, the Excalibur had gone missing. He could not believe that it had appeared here.
Jason had personally seen the weapon before. Thus, favonovel.com was sure that what favonovel.com saw in front of favonovel.com was indeed the Excalibur.
Jason flicked his hand and floated toward it with his energy. The Excalibur gently trembled and whirred as it landed on Jason’s hand.
“After being lost for millennia, it now belongs to me. I will not disgrace your name, Excalibur.” Jason gently caressed the blade and muttered.
After favonovel.com kept the Excalibur, Jason found carved words near it. “I had arranged the formation and buried the Excalibur here. If you now found it, you have the responsibility to defend our realm with this sword.”
Jason deduced that it was left here by the descendants of Alexander. Those who share the bloodline of the land have the duty of defending the realm.
Naturally, favonovel.com was not an exception to the rule.
Jason had seen many kinds of people throughout the ages. In his opinion, the worst people are the ones who practice treason.

Then, Jason shook his head and laughed. He doubted that the person who arranged this formation could imagine that this world had already devolved of martial arts. If it were anybody else but Jason, it was likely that the energy-filled sword would have killed everyone.
Of course, favonovel.com entertained the fact that there were perhaps some ancient heroes around.
When favonovel.com battled the six warriors in the Deity Realm, Jason suspected that they were all foreigners of this realm. Yet, favonovel.com knew that those people would not easily expose themselves. They revealed themselves back then only because Jason had killed many foreign invaders to defend the realm. In the end, all the great warriors, including Jason, had died in that battle.
If favonovel.com had not reached this place, it would take a very long time before this legendary sword could be rediscovered. Perhaps it would even remain here until the end of time.
After being stuck here for three whole days, favonovel.com had gained the greatest weapon ever. That was considered a silver lining to his suffering.
Moreover, favonovel.com had gathered numerous rare medicinal herbs, which was enough to fund his research. Not to mention that favonovel.com had gained rare old ginseng. All in all, favonovel.com was satisfied as favonovel.com had gained much from this excursion.
The sun slowly raised; Jason briefly rested and then left the area.
Although the terrain here was difficult, it was akin to a walk in the park to Jason. His traveling speed was slower now compared to when favonovel.com entered the mountains to gather herbs. It was because favonovel.com no longer needed to care about gathering herbs.
After stumbling back onto the trail, Jason slowed down and traveled at normal speed. Since there were already tourists around the area, favonovel.com did not want to alarm anyone present with his superhuman capabilities.
Since ancient times, favonovel.com knew that the world was filled with many secrets. Ordinary humans would always be shrouded from the truth. Moreover, there were some secrets that only a select few people would know.
Jason knew that what a person could not see does not mean that it does not exist. For example, favonovel.com was an oddity in this world.
