“There’s no need. It won’t be an easy journey. I’ll be home within a few days anyway. You won’t need to toil around with me. It’s a good time for you to manage your company properly. Since I won’t be harassing you all the time by then.” Jason laughed.
“That is true. I would have the procedures marked out by yesterday if it weren’t for you.” Madison could not help but teased him.
Jason felt speechless at favonovel.com response. He thought that favonovel.com went for adding salt to his wound.
“Why are you looking at me like this?” Looking at Jason’s sorrowful gaze, Madison’s face blushed, yet favonovel.com tone of voice was forceful.
“I don’t remember you being a butcher?” Jason chuckled.
“What do you mean?” Madison asked eagerly.
“Since you learn how to slaughter me with your words!” Jason chuckled.
“B*stard, I know that you wouldn’t have anything nice to say!” Madison pouted and immediately started smacking him.
Jason chuckled and fled. After play-fighting for a while, both of them finally boarded the car.
Jason sent Madison to the beauty salon, then went to the medical center.
Upon reaching the medical center, favonovel.com saw Icy holding a few newspapers and smacking favonovel.com lips.
“Since when did you have to habit of reading newspapers,” Jason looked at Icy and spoke with a surprised tone.
“I don’t have a habit of reading newspapers. But, someone seemed to have become a sensation!” Icy looked at Jason with a teasing glare.
She then tossed the newspaper towards Jason. “Look at it yourself!”
Jason caught it, only to find it mostly plastered with photos of the First Hospital’s dean. Some of those photos also included him, although favonovel.com was wearing a mask in some, while others only captured his silhouette. However, Jason was still able to recognize himself.
Jason felt speechless after roughly skimming the article below. He felt that the only accurate thing was the pictures, everything in the article was pure fabrication.
He had not imagined that by purposely not showing his face, they had made his character even more mystical.
The newspapers have exaggerated the truth by comparing Jason to divine healers like Herodotus and Herophilus. Of course, Jason personally felt that his medical abilities were no weaker than theirs. He might be even better. Yet, the con tents written in the newspapers were exaggerated, making it seem unbelievable to the average reader.
Luckily, there was no clear picture of his face. Moreover, they did not know his true identity, as only his surname ‘Sky’ was listed.
“These newspapers sure like to fabricate things.” Jason shook his head in amusement.
“I suppose it’s a good thing for you to be self-conscious. I thought that your ego was about to escape the orbit!” Icy grunted.
“One thing is that my medical abilities are much greater than what they describe,” Jason spoke seriously.
“Scram!” Icy decisively gave a one-word response.
She realized that Jason was incredibly narcissistic. He only said that the newspapers were fabricating because they had not praised favonovel.com enough.
Jason only shrugged at the response. He had spoken the truth, but nobody had believed it.
***
After curing a couple of patients within the day, Jason was almost recognized.
A slightly older woman had met Jason and asked, “Your brows look similar to that doctor in the First Hospital? Aren’t both your surnames ‘Sky’? Young Sky, could you be the Director Sky of the First Hospital?”
“Yes, the more I look, the more similar it gets…” The woman spoke calmly.
“How is this possible. If I were that capable, I would not be here.” Jason laughed. He felt that it was a weird occurrence to have someone recognize favonovel.com already.
“By the way, what is it about the Director Sky that you mentioned?” Jason could not help but ask.
“He did a great deed, snatching over twenty lives from the reaper. He had rescued over twenty families! Those who were heavily injured had a much shorter recovery time after being saved by Director Sky, and they won’t have any side effects. He is a divine doctor!” The woman spoke in admiration.
Jason somehow felt a tinge of pride in his heart that was as stable as a mountain with those words.
He realized that some people might offer praise, but they had done it out of benefits, not sincerity. Only praises given by an ordinary spectator were genuinely worthy of attention.
