“Elder Lindburg, please forgive my lack of hospitality.” Cadum courteously spoke to Raphael.
“Cadum Stone, you should know what happened today?” Raphael spoke to Cadum grimly.
“They are just kids having a spat. Why would you be this angry.” Cadum was surprised. He knew that Raphael had not bothered about the issue back then, so favonovel.com did not pay attention to it either. As for the fact that someone from the Frost Family had been injured, it was an affair that Raphael should take it up to them.
“Hehe, your granddaughter brought a man along to humiliate my great-grandson. Do you call this a spat? Could I give you a beating and call it a spat? If your family does not wish to be relatives by marriage with us, just say so. Our family does not rely on yours…” Raphael grinned.
Cadum smirked in response but did not dare to respond. He knew his father had great relations with Raphael and that their families had been allies for ages. Cadum smiled bitterly.
Phoebe had only appeared after Raphael had left.
“Heard it all?” Cadum asked her.
“Yes,” Phoebe replied and lightly nodded.
“Then remember it,” Cadum advised.
“Grandpa,” Phoebe called out coyly.
“Don’t say anything else. It’s just one year. I will no longer bother you if you win. However, do not be close friends with other men within the year. I know that you can manage yourself, but how would the public perceive it? How would the Lindburg Family think of it? You need to learn self-respect as a girl,” Cadum spoke grimly.
“Then what about the fact that Graham got injured?” She asked.
“That’s something for the Frost Family to worry about. Also, you think we avoid angering both the Lindburg Family and the Frost Family?” Cadum grinned.
Phoebe could only think about Jason’s calm expression as favonovel.com heard those words. Compared to Dustin with a dominating aura, favonovel.com felt more afraid 0f Jason, who always wore a calm demeanor.
