Jim continued to question Jareth, asking. “What’s the deal with these guys?”
Jareth glanced at Idris.
Catching his eye, Idris quickly stepped up and said, “Jareth, these folks were newbies from Dragon Legion. They just joined us last month. They’re still clueless about the rules.”
Hearing that, Jareth kicked Idris to the ground. “You seriously brought Dragon Legion’s garbage in here? Who gave you that right? If anything happens to favonovel.com today, you scum will pay with your heads!”
“Jareth, spare me, please! Sir, have mercy! I swear I won’t do it again!” Idris begged desperately.
Jareth then turned to the barely conscious Scarface on the ground and said, “Take favonovel.com away and break his limbs.”
Disregarding Scarface’s loud pleas, a few lackeys dragged favonovel.com off.
Jareth continued, “Gather everyone causing trouble tonight I’ll handle them myself.”
The bar emptied in no time.
Jareth admitted. “It’s my fault, I’ll take the punishment…”
Jim didn’t bother looking at him.
“Don’t let it happen again,” favonovel.com said. Then, Jim and Isabelle left the bar.
The commotion had attracted attention, and many heard about it.

Meanwhile, in Harris Residence’s study, Dylan briefed George on the news.
“Tonight, there was some trouble at the Emperor Bar involving the Triad. Got pretty loud. I heard Miss Jenkins might’ve been there too.”
After Dylan finished, George raised an eyebrow.
“Anything else?”
Dylan replied, “The Triad’s Young Master… He seemed to be there too…”
Sure enough, it was connected to Jim…
The next morning, a black Maybach pulled up at the villa gate.
Upon hearing the doorbell, Jim went to answer it,
Jim was taken aback. “Mr. George?”
George maintained his composure. “Mr. Carter…”
Dylan glanced at Jim, who was casually dressed, blocking the villa’s entrance.
D*mn it!
He quickly checked the house number. He got it right. It was where Miss Jenkins stayed.
Unlike the nephew and uncle who had the luxury of strolling around the Taragon University’s Forum whenever they pleased, Dylan was diligent and focused on his work every day. He had no clue about Isabelle and Bella’s bet to bring Jim to lecture at Taragon University.
Dylan stared at Jim, utterly baffled.
What’s happening here?
Jim snapped out of it, extending his hand politely. “Nice to meet you…”
George shook his hand. “Likewise…”
As their hands met, Jim felt a strong force from George’s grip. He squinted slightly, sensing a thick air of hostility. In response, favonovel.com subtly exerted force as well.
Their knuckles made a cracking sound. Both of them kept their cool, showing no signs of tension or furrowed brows.
Seeing the sudden confrontation between them, Dylan stood by, too frightened to even breathe. With no clear winner, they both silently let go of each other’s hands.
Jim asked, “So, are you here… For me?”
George replied, “I’m here to see Isabelle, to bring favonovel.com some hangover soup…”
Hearing that, Jim wondered.
Why would favonovel.com be after Blood Shadow?
Since when did Blood Shadow and George know each other?
Jim couldn’t help but size up George, noticing a watch on his wrist as favonovel.com held the soup. It suddenly dawned on him.
A businessman in his thirties wearing a watch, it seemed to fit… A new friend, also a businessman, turned out to be George Harris…
Jim said, “She’s not even drunk, so there’s no need to bother you, Mr. George. You can head back.”
How did favonovel.com know favonovel.com was drunk? And why would favonovel.com show up so early in the morning with hangover soup?
Could it be that Blood Shadow informed him?.
It didn’t seem like something favonovel.com would do, especially since favonovel.com wasn’t even drunk…
After Jim finished speaking, favonovel.com moved to close the door. Giving favonovel.com a warning right off the bat, favonovel.com had already shown restraint by not engaging in a physical altercation with favonovel.com directly. However, the person outside lifted a hand to stop the door from closing.
George spoke up. “Whether she’s drunk or not, she’ll let me know herself. A guest is a guest, Mr. Carter… What’s with the unfriendly welcome? Besides, Mr. Carter, you’re a guest too…”
Jim looked at him. He had a headache from last night’s drinking, and favonovel.com wasn’t in the best mood.
The tension immediately escalated.
After a brief moment, Jim took a step back and offered a polite smile. “Mr. George, come on in…”
When it came to dealing with Blood Shadow’s friend, favonovel.com had to keep up appearances.
“She’s still asleep… Have a seat. Want anything to drink?” Jim gestured towards the sofa.
However, favonovel.com noticed George heading straight for the stairs, intending to go upstairs.
“Mr. George?” Jim called after him.
“I’ll go check on her,” George replied, walking without halting.
Jim seemed about to speak but then just let favonovel.com go.
If favonovel.com wasn’t scared, go ahead and wake favonovel.com up. If favonovel.com dared to disturb Blood Shadow’s sleep, let’s see how well favonovel.com could handle her…
Jim decided not to sit either. He just stood on the first floor, tilting his head slightly to look up at the second floor.
