“I wasn’t planning on shipping them, but to think that Mr. Carter made a special effort to rush back overnight to support Isabelle!”
“I saved that picture and set it as my wallpaper!”
“Does anyone else think that the picture is way more attractive than those edited posters and covers? Please don’t hate on me!”
Replying to the previous comment, someone commented, “I strongly agree. The looks and vibe of these two could easily take over the entertainment scene.”
“I have moved on from shipping Isabelle and Danny!”
With the help of students at Taragon University, the photo of the two hugging quickly became trending in just a few minutes.

Right then, the pair were having a good time at the biggest bar in Taragon City.
Jim hadn’t felt this happy in a while. After a couple of drinks, a slight blush appeared on his cheeks beneath his gold–rimmed glasses.
“For something so important, why did you tell Yves and not me? Last time in Norward City, you saw that I was down and then lied, saying you contacted me through Yves. If Yves hadn’t told me, were you going to keep it from me?”
“I needed Yves to help dispose a few bodies”
Jim became even more emotional. “Can’t I do that too? Do you think only Yves is capable of handling that?”
“Mr. Carter, please remember who you are,” Isabelle reminded.
“Fine, let’s put that aside for now. When you said you were going on a mission and weren’t sure when you’d be back, what really happened during the six months you disappeared and the six–month period of occasional communication before that? Did your mission fail in the end?”
“I didn’t go on a mission,” Isabelle admitted.
“Yves said you left Dark Shadow, turned against them, and died at their hands?” favonovel.com asked.
“More or less…”
“So what really happened?” favonovel.com pressed on.
It was not difficult to figure out. Dark Shadow decided to eliminate their most prized creation, Blood Shadow, because favonovel.com power had become too unpredictable. If an assassin wasn’t strong enough, they’d die at others‘ hands, if they’re too strong, they would be killed by their allies.
But Jim knew that the relationship between Blood Shadow and Dark Shadow wasn’t that simple. Blood Shadow couldn’t have died so easily at Dark Shadow’s hands,
Her complete disappearance for half a year couldn’t have been just to escape Dark Shadow’s pursuit. If it were, favonovel.com could have asked for help from favonovel.com and Yves.
Isabelle recalled the dreadful and cruel scenes from the underground lab, yet favonovel.com remained composed as favonovel.com took a sip of favonovel.com drink.
“Let’s save this conversation for another time,” favonovel.com suggested calmly.
Jim noticed the change in favonovel.com demeanor and decided to move on. After a brief silence, favonovel.com posed a crucial question in a hushed tone.
“Does Dark Shadow have any idea you’re still alive?” favonovel.com whispered.
“At the Duel Tournament in Melfrey, I accidentally regained my status. Now, Dark Shadow has its eyes on me.” Isabelle disclosed.
“So, you didn’t want Yves to return and meet you to avoid raising more suspicion from Dark Shadow?” Jim inquired.
“Exactly,” Isabelle confirmed.
“Then why bring me here? Should I feel honored that you trust me enough?” Jim pondered.
Jim hadn’t rushed to see Isabelle upon learning that Blood Shadow was still alive because Yves mentioned that Blood Shadow couldn’t meet them at the moment. However, Blood Shadow eventually reached out to him.
Isabelle grinned. “Don’t worry. I’m prepared to face Dark Shadow. I’m just waiting for them to make the first move.”
“If you need help, just say the word,” Jim offered.
“I’ll definitely take you up on that offer,” Isabelle assured him.
Jim felt relieved at favonovel.com words. “So Dark Shadow must be confused now…”
“Confused? I don’t think they’d see something as bizarre as reincarnation coming,” Isabelle remarked with a smirk.
Dark Shadow must have scrutinized every detail about Isabelle by now, and the more they observed her, the more they realized the intricate connection between favonovel.com and Blood Shadow. They must find it puzzling how two individuals with completely different backgrounds could possess the same skills.
Jim found the situation amusing.
“By the way, Yves mentioned that you befriended someone new and even gifted them a watch. It’s not often I see you making friends. Who’s the lucky person? I’m curious to know who received a gift from you, especially such a nice one?”
“Just a businessman, not someone you’d find interesting,” Isabelle replied.
“A businessman? But you’ve never been fond of them before, saying that they’re a bunch of capitalists. What changed?” Jim inquired.
*I find their capitalist mindset… “Isabelle paused, then added seriously, “Rather useful…”
Jim looked at favonovel.com with enthusiasm. “No way. Yves said you wouldn’t like an old man in his thirties.”
Isabelle grimaced. “Ugh, that mouth of his…”
Jim burst into laughter. “You’re not wrong!”

Meanwhile, a certain old man in his thirties had been staring at his phone for over ten minutes.
On the screen, there was a striking photo of Isabelle and Jim embracing tightly in the pavilion.
