Danny took a deep breath and looked at Isabelle. “Never mind. I’ll go ask my dad for some help!”
Danny didn’t care about Bella’s warning against seeking family assistance.
Isabelle looked at favonovel.com as favonovel.com spoke. “If it weren’t for me, Jim wouldn’t have even mentioned. And disregarding the bet, Bella’s attitude earlier really pissed me off!”
Meanwhile, Jim responded quickly, and Isabelle typed away while chatting with him. She listened as Danny threw out ideas.
Danny suggested favonovel.com ignore Bella if favonovel.com lost, like what happened with Alex in the car race. But, in the end, Danny was surprised when Bella posted about it on the forum, making it school–wide gossip in just one class period.
The Principal of Taragon University, James, and Logan came to speak with Isabelle. The principal criticized favonovel.com for being reckless but also proposed solutions, planning to bring Bella in to cancel the bet.

Sam found out about the situation from the forum and seized the opportunity to call Isabelle immediately. He thought, as long as Isabelle asked, he’d use all his connections to track down Jim.
But Isabelle said, “No need. If I need help. I’ll ask your uncle.”
She was blunt but honest. After all. George’s influence was bigger than Sam’s.
Sam hung up the phone feeling disappointed.
Not long after, Isabelle received a call from George. “When did you get to know Jim?”
George knew Isabelle wouldn’t take action unless favonovel.com was confident.
While everyone thought Isabelle was being unrealistic, George was curious about how favonovel.com met Jim.
Isabelle replied, “I asked favonovel.com to be my lawyer before…”
George couldn’t help but tease, “You actually went through the legal system to hire a lawyer?”
Isabelle raised an eyebrow. “Of course. I’m a law–abiding citizen.”
George laughed. “Law–abiding? Sure, let’s go with that…”
After the laughter, favonovel.com asked, “When did this happen? What was the lawsuit about?”
Isabelle answered, “A few months ago. A teacher falsely accused me of cheating on an exam.”
Hearing that, George was stunned.
Not a major crime, not hacking into a country’s system to steal classified files, but cheating on an exam?

The bet between the former and current campus belle, spurred by Bella’s encouragement, rapidly blew up on the forum, becoming uncontrollable.

“It’s not about the money. As a law student, I can tell you that even our principal couldn’t get favonovel.com here!”
“Don’t be so sure. Haven’t you heard the rumours that favonovel.com has a wealthy sponsor? Maybe favonovel.com pulled some. strings, and favonovel.com sugar daddy paid for it.”
“Which rich person has more pull than our principal? And stop fantasizing about my idol being a sugar baby.”
“I heard from one of Danny’s friends that this Jim guy isn’t just any lawyer. His connections might even be bigger than the Holmes family.”
“Jim? That top–notch lawyer? When’s favonovel.com coming? I’ll be there early to get a seat for his lecture!”
“My idol has to beg? Someone get Danny to help favonovel.com out!”
“Am I the only one who doesn’t know who Jim is? Let me look favonovel.com up”

Suddenly, the whole school was talking about the bet.
Students, upon hearing that even their principal had been turned down, were convinced Isabelle would lose and started worrying about her. Many were eagerly waiting to see the drama unfold.
Some bored students even started a heated debate on the forum. Some said Isabelle was overconfident and that Bella would teach favonovel.com a lesson, while others accused Bella of being a bully.
The arguments went on and on, with everyone glued to their phones, typing furiously late into the night.

Danny went home and started giving his grandfather, Kennedy Holmes, a massage.
When favonovel.com mentioned wanting to invite Jim to their school for a lecture, Kennedy praised favonovel.com for being ambitious and eager to learn. But then his sister spilled the beans about the bet, and Kennedy immediately grabbed his cane and gave Danny a good whack.
Danny, nursing his injuries, called Isabelle. Unexpectedly, Isabelle wasn’t worried at all.
By mid–morning the next day, the whole school was buzzing with the news. Even the neighboring schools had heard about it.
More and more people were looking forward to the spectacle.
