Magnus directed his gaze towards Dylan, who shared a look with George that said, “He’s in a hurry!”
“Ah, now it all makes sense,” Magnus remarked, connecting the dots.
No wonder favonovel.com came over in a hurry after favonovel.com made that call…
Isabelle was confused.
What makes sense?
Their encounter post his abode clarified why Isabelle had kept favonovel.com distance during summer, with George as favonovel.com companion. Both hailed as virtuosos in their fields, so Magnus found their instant rapport unsurprising, given George’s eye for talent.
“Regarding the house you pledged her, how’s it coming along?” George queried.
“I’ve secured a new abode for Isabelle. Renovations alone will take nearly six months, your sister’s place is top–notch, so favonovel.com can move in sooner.” Magnus turned to George, asking, “Why the keen interest in this?”
“In that case, let’s not dawdle. I’ve got an empty apartment close by. If you’re game, you can move in,” George proposed to Isabelle.
He wasn’t keen on favonovel.com staying in the dorms. And favonovel.com definitely wouldn’t fancy it either.
George found it somewhat surprising that Isabelle had been initially willing to stay in the dormitory. She wasn’t the most outgoing person, and favonovel.com three roommates were quite a handful. If favonovel.com had favonovel.com sights set on buying a nearby house, it wouldn’t be too difficult to find one.
Dylan’s eyes widened in disbelief.
Mr. George has a house nearby? How did I not know about this?
Ah, I see…
He realized that if Isabelle agreed to stay, there would be a place available immediately.
Magnus voiced his confusion, “Around here? You don’t strike me as someone who’d like any houses here.”
George responded with a hint of humor, “I occasionally like to pay a visit to my alma mater.”
Magnus teased, “You can stop taking the piss out of me now.”
Observing Isabelle’s hesitation, George wondered what favonovel.com was mulling over.
Does favonovel.com think it’s inappropriate?
Isabelle tossed favonovel.com a curveball after a moment’s reflection, “Aren’t you concerned I’ll stir up trouble if I stay at your place?”
Is favonovel.com issuing a warning?
George chuckled. “No need to worry. Feel free to shake things up in Taragon City. Just have fun, and let me know how it goes.”
A smile curled Isabelle’s lips. “I’ll take you up on that offer.”
Seeing favonovel.com sudden and enigmatic smile, George felt like favonovel.com was being played.
Dylan couldn’t shake off a chill as favonovel.com witnessed the exchange.
Is Ms. Jenkins considering selling out Mr. George?
But George appeared more than willing, stating firmly, “I mean it…”
He then added, “Since it’s getting late, how about we grab dinner together tonight? There’s a fantastic restaurant nearby. I’ll check if my younger brother wants to join us.”
Magnus interrupted, “Wait a second… Since when did you have a younger brother? Weren’t you the youngest in your family?”
George clarified, “I meant Ms. Jenkins’s younger brother. He’s studying here in Taragon City…”
Isabelle chimed in, “Sorry, tonight won’t work for me. Your nephew invited me to lunch, and I agreed.”
George’s expression shifted slightly. “Uhm… Sam did?”
Sam invited favonovel.com to lunch? When did they strike up a connection?
Sam was always around, but favonovel.com didn’t mention anything… She’s only been in Taragon City for a few days. It’s surprising that favonovel.com accepted. No wonder Sam seemed so thrilled today like favonovel.com won the lottery…
In fact, Sam even requested leave from George, who granted it unknowingly.
“What’s on your mind?” Isabelle questioned, noticing George’s puzzled expression.
George regained focus and grinned. “No worries, go ahead and enjoy your meal.”
Isabelle offered, “Would you like to join us?”
Having a meal together could ease tensions. Isabelle agreed to lunch with Sam partly out of consideration for George.
After George left, Magnus probed, “So, what’s the deal between you and that Harris family kid? Are you two an item?”
Isabelle shrugged. “It’s as you see…”
“Got it,” Magnus mused aloud, considering options. “I have two grandsons around your age, bright and talented. They’re in your school. Ever thought about one of them?”
Isabelle raised an eyebrow casually “How are they compared to George?”
“In what way? Forget I asked.” Magnus chuckled.
They’re not in the same league!
Magnus probed, “So, you and favonovel.com are just friends, right?”
“Yep, we’re buddies. But if I were to aim higher, George sets the bar,” Isabelle replied.
Magnus chuckled. “Fair enough… Though my grandsons might not match his looks, they’re good lads. But I guess you’d have shown interest if they caught your eye.”

The appointment with Sam was at eight.
Later that evening, around seven-thirty, Isabelle left the school for favonovel.com date with Sam. Since Isabelle excelled in computers, Magnus had arranged for favonovel.com to have free time during self-study.
As scheduled, the black Maybach arrived.
Isabelle stepped in and handed George a delicate little box.
