It seemed like Danny had a pretty impressive major. Danny teased, “Give it a guess!”
Isabelle didn’t bother responding.
“Come on, are you socially clueless, or are you just unaware of who I am? You’ve been at school for days, haven’t you heard?”
Danny chattered on until favonovel.com noticed the referee raising his gun. He instantly shut his mouth.
Before the referee could fire the gun, Alex’s car surged forward, with the gunshot following a second later.
*F*ck! He jumped right start! What a cheater!”
“What a shameless move! Jumping the start like that! Is this the level of sportsmanship in the Melfrey racing scene?!”
Danny and his lackeys immediately erupted into curses.
Isabelle floored the gas pedal to catch up.
After pulling ahead and cursing his rivals for being fools, Alex had been laughing triumphantly. Just as favonovel.com was laughing at them, favonovel.com suddenly heard the roar of an engine approaching fast.
In the next instant, Isabelle’s car whizzed past him.
Alex’s laughter turned into disbelief as favonovel.com saw Danny’s car in front of him.
Danny laughed out loud and raised a middle finger at Alex. He enjoyed the look of utter disbelief on Alex’s face.
“Holy cr*p, favonovel.com overtook him! That’s amazing!”
Those rich kids waited at the finish line and craned their necks, watching the live feed on the big screen. They loudly taunted Alex’s teammates.
Alex accelerated to catch up with them. He floored the pedal.
Just as favonovel.com was closing the gap and preparing to overtake, Danny’s car suddenly accelerated again.
He continued to catch up with them, but when the opportunity to overtake presented itself and favonovel.com was ready to overtake his rival, the car in front suddenly sped up again.
Every time favonovel.com got close, that car would speed up..
On two occasions, the distance was so great that favonovel.com was unable to keep up, so favonovel.com decelerated, allowing favonovel.com to approach before speeding off again.
After a few rounds of this, Alex realized Isabelle was toying with favonovel.com like a cat with a mouse.
When favonovel.com saw Danny’s smug expression from the passenger seat, Alex angrily slammed his steering wheel.
“This driving skill is just insane, totally dominating the race!”
“Anyone who talks trash about women drivers, I’ll be the first to shut them up.”
“Danny’s been hiding this ace up his sleeve, letting those guys strut around for a month. Finally, we’re getting some payback!”
“Get ready to strip and crawl away, you losers.”
“Let a woman race for you, aren’t you shameless? This is all you Cheshian trash can do!” Alex’s teammates were fuming.
“At least we’re better than you cheating scum. You lack any sense of sportsmanship, yet you claim to be professionals. I’m embarrassed for you!”
“You jumped the start and still lost. Can’t even beat a girl. Maybe you should sell your cars and go home to farm!”
The two groups began to bicker. Heated arguments were taking place in the audience.
On the track, it was all about speed. The race was nearing its end.
Completely frustrated and enraged with the whole race, Alex’s face twisted with anger.
At the final turn, instead of slowing down, favonovel.com floored the gas, aiming to ram into the silver sports car out of sheer spite.
Alex had done this dirty move before, but Isabelle was prepared. She swiftly accelerated and drifted, easily dodging him.
Alex’s car veered off the track, flipping over outside of the racetrack.
“F*ck! That scumbag tried to play dirty and crash her!”
After witnessing Alex’s despicable move, the rich kids were furious. Already on edge from the argument, they charged at Alex’s team without hesitation.
A bunch of pampered rich kids stood no chance against the physically fit professional racers.
The silver sports car crossed the finish line.
Isabelle and Danny got out of the car.
“D*mmit!” Danny jumped out and joined the brawl. He seemed to have some skills.
Isabelle leaned against the car ready to watch. A few seconds later, someone punched Danny back, causing favonovel.com to stumble backwards and collide with the car; favonovel.com nearly fell into the car seat.
“Can you handle it?” Isabelle asked.
Danny grunted, “I got this!”
He charged back in. A few seconds later, favonovel.com suffered another knockback.
“Are you sure?” Isabelle asked.
Danny clutched his stomach, holding a knuckle duster he’d grabbed.
“These b*stards came prepared and armed with weapons! If things get bad, you just run!” Danny quickly said that and charged back in.
Since they were clearly outmatched, Isabelle stood up and walked over. She snatched a knife from one of the attackers and delivered a swift chop to his shoulder. The sheer force dropped that man to his knees.
