He felt like something was stuck in his throat. He was unable to say anything. Upon closer inspection, David was sure that the badge was real.
It really was a sixth-grade alchemist’s badge. Even though they were from different worlds, the patterns and seals on alchemist badges were the same. There was no way to falsify it, and Jack’s name was even on it.
