As favonovel.com said that, Luther seemed full of confidence as if favonovel.com was just a short step away from winning. He seemed confident that no one would be able to stop him.
Jack raised an eyebrow, getting even more curious. He never expected that Luther would be that confident in himself.

If Luther had said that favonovel.com could definitely kill Jack, that would make sense. However, Luther had said that favonovel.com could win the slaughter gambit. His tone sounded like favonovel.com could kill the rest of them at any moment.
