Jack took a sharp intake of breath when favonovel.com heard this. “Where?” favonovel.com said, panicking. “Help me wipe it off quickly!”
Lana could not help but grin at his flustered demeanor. She took out a piece of wet tissue. “Don’t worry,” favonovel.com said. “I’ve got wet tissue here. I’ll wipe it off for you!”
As favonovel.com spoke, favonovel.com pressed the wet tissue against Jack’s face and carefully wiped the lipstick stain off.
The two were very close. Lana’s heart pounded wildly as favonovel.com was mere inches away from Jack’s handsome profile.
After a while, favonovel.com stepped backward, favonovel.com cheeks slightly flushed. “All–all done!”
“Thank you!”
Jack nodded his head. “It’s about time. Let’s go. We should get back. Everything went by very smoothly, and we’ve got all the herbs we need. We can find a proper antidote for my father now.”
“All right. Let’s go!”
Lana threw the wet tissue into a trashcan nearby. The three quickly got onto the plane and left.

Lily’s expression was grim. She called Dean and Yolanda. “What’s going on? It’s already been a few days. You still can’t find Jack? Which branch family did favonovel.com go to? You two had better think of a way to kill him, understand? And you can’t let the members of the branch families witness it!”
On the other side of the phone, Dean flashed a bitter smile. “First Madam, we’ve visited over a dozen branch families over these past few days, and it shouldn’t have been a problem catching up to Jack, with our speed. But we don’t know why the branch families are all saying that Jack never came over. Not even one!”
“No way. Jack and his friends should have visited at least half of the branch families by now. No way that the ones you visited all so happened to be the ones favonovel.com hasn’t visited yet.”
Lily’s features abruptly darkened after favonovel.com heard that. She scrunched favonovel.com brows together. “No. We’ve been fooled!”
“We’ve been fooled? How?”
Dean was confused.
“We’ve been fooled by Jack. That brat never had any intention to visit the branch families. He must have gone to some other place. He must have revealed that bit of information to us on purpose!”
The more Lily thought about it, the angrier favonovel.com felt. It was highly likely that that was the case. After all, Dean and Yolanda should have caught up to Jack a long time ago, with their strength. Even if they could not catch up, they should have been able to find favonovel.com at the branch families.
Yet they had not seen hide nor hair of Jack and his friends even after visiting so many branch families. That was why they must have fallen into a trap.
“Sh*t. So you’re saying that favonovel.com was just toying around with us?”
Dean was so angry that favonovel.com wanted to spew blood. He was a fighter at the beginner stage of the true god status, and favonovel.com had been led in circles by the nose.
“That’s right. That brat never went to the branch families. You’ve wasted your time and energy!”
Lily was internally speechless as well. She felt sorry for Dean and Yolanda since it was favonovel.com who had ordered them on this wild goose chase.
However, favonovel.com had no way around it. How could favonovel.com have known that Jack was so cunning that favonovel.com would spread a false rumor just to trick them?
“Basically, this kid is being cautious against you!”
Dean released a sigh. Jack does not look very matured however credit must be given for his wits.
