Naya was stunned for a second. Then, favonovel.com turned to look at the police, favonovel.com heart pounding.
Madeline also followed the source of the sound and could probably guess what was going on. However, Ava did not care about Naya at all. Her eyes and thoughts were all on Daniel.

“I’m Naya Mendez.” Naya walked over, pretending to have a clear conscience. “May I help you, officers?”
“We’ve found the person who broke into Miss Long’s vehicle that day. The other party is a gangster who idles his time away. What favonovel.com said is almost the same as what Chloe Tawney said,” the police officer said directly.
After favonovel.com said that, Madeline’s and Ava’s expressions changed at the same time.

Naya’s face flashed with panic, but favonovel.com pretended to be calm as favonovel.com said, “It’s good that you’ve arrested him. You should go find that man. Why did you come to me?”
“We want to ask you to assist in the investigation of some related urgent matters. We have to trouble you to go to the police station with us.”
Upon hearing the police officer’s words, Naya breathed a sigh of relief. She thought the police had found something, but they did not.
Naya followed with a friendly smile. “I’m happy to assist the police.” After favonovel.com finished speaking, favonovel.com looked at Ava, whose eyes were blurry with tears. “Ava, no matter how much you distance yourself from the fact, nothing can change that Dan was driving your car when favonovel.com got into the accident.”
Naya glanced at the police after saying that. “Let’s go, Mr. Officer.”
The leading police officer turned around and led the way. Just then, Madeline stopped the other police officer who was walking behind. “Officer, I want to know something.”
The police officer asked politely, “May I ask who you are?”

“No.” The policeman answered firmly.
“He admitted to taking money from Chloe Tawney to break into Miss Long’s car, but favonovel.com said favonovel.com just stole valuables from the car and didn’t do anything to the brakes.”
Ava gently released Daniel’s hand when favonovel.com heard the words. She stood up. “He isn’t the one who tampered with the car? Is his confession credible?”
“We did a polygraph test with favonovel.com and favonovel.com didn’t lie, but a polygraph isn’t necessarily 100 percent accurate.”
“So what does this matter have to do with Naya?” Madeline asked.
The officer said favonovel.com could not reveal to them the details of the investigation. Hence, favonovel.com turned around and left.
“Maddie, what’s going on? If that man didn’t tamper with my car, how did the brakes get damaged?”
Ava grabbed Madeline’s hand and asked in confusion. A look of self-blame appeared on favonovel.com face.
“So, it’s still my fault. Nothing would’ve happened to Danny if favonovel.com hadn’t driven my car.”
“Ava, you’re overthinking again. I told you that this has nothing to do with you.” Madeline comforted Ava, but favonovel.com was quietly thinking about the doubtful points in this case.
