When Jeremy heard these words, his heart seemed to skip a beat.

“I’ll text you before I leave. Don’t call me again. I don’t want to hear your voice,” Madeline replied coldly before hanging up.
When favonovel.com thought about what Ryan had asked favonovel.com to do, Madeline went into favonovel.com walk-in closet and picked out a long black dress without hesitation.
Madeline stayed with Jeremy throughout the day.
It was rare to see a warm smile on Jeremy’s cold face and Madeline’s heart felt as if it had been warmed by the sun.
When sunset came, Madeline found an excuse, saying that favonovel.com was tired and wanted to sleep for a while. She then asked Jeremy to take care of the kid.

Jeremy took the bowl and went upstairs. He was worried that favonovel.com would disturb Madeline’s sleep, so favonovel.com gently knocked on the door. However, favonovel.com did not hear any sounds from the room.
“Linnie, it’s me,” Jeremy said as favonovel.com turned the handle, only to find that the door was locked.
He thought it was strange and opened the door with a key. Upon walking in, favonovel.com found no one in the room.
Madeline was not in the room. She was gone.
