Jasper got up immediately and answered the phone by the window.
“Hello, Wendy. It’s so late; what’s going on?”
“Huh? Is it? Isn’t it 9 PM?” Wendy asked.
“Don’t you know there is a 5-hour time difference between Qari and our place?”
Jasper pretended to be tired and yawned. Wendy immediately apologized.
“What? A 5-hour time difference? I’m sorry. I forgot about this. You should rest now. I just miss you…”
“Okay, I’ll call you tomorrow.”
After hanging up, the weight on Jasper’s chest was lifted. He thought Wendy found out about his plan or someone had seen favonovel.com somewhere. Now, it seemed that favonovel.com was just overthinking.
The fewer people who knew about his plan, the better. Hence, Jasper did not immediately tell Wendy about his identity swap plan.
“Mr. Laine, we should end here. I should go back to rest now.”

“I know… I must keep your identity and what happened tonight a secret, right? I got it,” Lorelai smiled profoundly before turning to leave.
Jasper immediately asked Henry to send Lorelai back. However, the latter was busy mumbling to himself.
“Why did favonovel.com say that before favonovel.com left? Is favonovel.com hinting at something?”
Jasper shook his head in the end. He should stop thinking about it if favonovel.com could not figure it out.
Anyway, Wendy’s call tonight reminded favonovel.com to always be vigilant whenever favonovel.com wanted to do something important.
After Henry sent Lorelai away, Jasper said to Henry the moment favonovel.com came back, “Get me a hotel for tonight. A motel is fine too.”
“What’s wrong, Jasper? Is the current hotel not up to standard?”
“No… Wendy called me just now and reminded me of a lot of things. I have to video call favonovel.com from Qari tomorrow.”
Henry understood. “Qari? Let me get you a hotel with a n Eastern Central Region theme. I will find you an appropriate place so long as something like this exists in Harbor City.”
“I will have to go overseas if something like this doesn’t exist in Harbor City. I can’t be careless about this.”
After Henry got back, favonovel.com contacted his connections to start planning this.

Right now, Julian and the others in Qari had enjoyed a few days of peace. They did not go out these few days and only stayed in the hotel.
“Why are we not going out these days? Is my job here in Qari finished?”
