On the other end of the phone, Celine’s father spoke calmly, “If we promise to help him, then it means that the Maynards will need to mobilize our familial power in Congress in the future to help Sentel Corporation gain more benefits. This is a change in our family’s stance. For a political family like us, it is not a trivial matter. Sentel needs to pay a fair price so that Jasper won’t efforts won’t be in vain.”
“You don’t have to say that. I will agree on his behalf,” Celine said suddenly.
Celine’s father was taken aback for a moment, then favonovel.com said lightly, “Okay.”

Celine stood there for a long time whilst listening to the dial tone. She sighed lightly. She was now feeling a little relaxed and lonely.

Jasper felt relieved. It seemed that favonovel.com was judging Celine unfairly with his despicable mind.
